I think there's this interesting shift going on right now, at least with channels I watch, where everyone is focusing on essentials and clearouts and I love it. interesting to see people be much more realistic

I think it is great that you made that little disclaimer at the beginning about how earlier you used to almost "horde" make up because when I first started watching beauty youtube videos I remember how pressured I was to own just as much which is absolutely ridiculous and I never gave into it but I can imagine many people have and do..

I definitely think you should look into the project panning community! Its nice to see how some youtubers mature with their beauty style and how their collection has changed x

Very cathartic to have a good clear out. I was keeping things that were way past their expiry date or just because they were expensive and truth is, I was never going to use them. Minimalism is better for my mind lol I can’t stand excess and clutter!

When you said you were lazy for not cleaning your sponge after 2 days... I normally go weeks without washing mine.... oops!

Just a bit of advice for any sprays, perfumes or products you have on display which are clearly in the sun :) it makes products go off WAY quicker. I made the mistake of displaying my perfume on my vanity which saw 8hr of sun each day and it turned my perfumes acidic and off within 3 months :(

Love the shop-my-stash idea and other old-school beauty videos. The monthly makeup routines from a few years ago were great, too! Seeing those videos from someone who doesn't encourage (even implicitly) viewers to horde would be really useful and nuanced, I think. Also, loving your editing on insta stories ATM. <3

Video idea - how about doing a full face of products that you DON'T class as your daily faves? Like a whole face of makeup from the drawer, not touching anything in the Muji Perspex box. Loved this video!
