Oh I know, took us by surprise finding that little gem of a clip 😂
Moved to a boat, 4 years ago, gave almost all of my furniture away as it wouldn’t fit, gave away most of gardening/ DIY/ garage stuff, eBay for some of the nik-naks, still have a storage unit full of stuff. Four bedroom house downsized to a 70 x 7 ft boat.
4 years ago: sold, eBay, Freecycle, charity shops and lots of tip runs in car over couple of months. Friend looking after my grandfather’s grandfather clock plus whatever I could fit into wardrobe in her spare room. Cost of storage meant not worth keeping stuff sadly but now I don’t miss it. Congratulations on the wedding dress xx
Hi you guys. I’ve missed you. You somehow dropped off my feed, even though I’m still subscribed. Now I need to go and binge watch, to find out how you got to this point. My Iveco remains a lorry, with a curtain sided box. No progress to report on that score. But our other projects are creeping slowly forwards, so not all bad.

@@Touringwiththekidsit didn’t, back in late 90s/2000s our local tip was just a load of containers same as your storage one, nothing got separated, just pulled up to a container then piled everything in. Then it changed to separate stuff like rubble, timber scrap etc but now we’ve got limits like only 5 bags of rubble etc, now I just save enough waste to warrant a small 4 yard skip, £180 but delivers to home, load it up with everything and off it goes.
Keep going Yasmin your doing just fine getting a few campsites under your belt will give you more confidence there’s a few on the chase you could try look for forest view it’s a lovely site and very friendly also takkeroo that would give you more of the wild camping experience and there’s a little site behind the cafe just up the road from the German cemetery keep up the good vlogs and enjoy x

What? 18? In a biscuit shop? £7 for the biscuits? £4, That's not bad. Do Crawford's own Mc Vities? I downsized considerably and there's "only me!" So, I have been arranging my life so that when i retire in 4 years I'll get a bus, transform it to a home and I'll have all I need. (Then it's just land to park on for the Summer in one place and the winter somewhere warmer). I only just got my license back this year and have a tiny car for now, but practice in my mate's Renault Traffic on his farm. (Hoping to park there in years to come).

When you're describing what you had in your storage unit, it doesn't help to keep your camera focused on yourself instead of panning over the items you are describing and helping those watching your video with a visual sense of what you're describing.

Making a change from living on land to van life or boat life is a major change to answer your question I would take my time before making the move to think about what I can take with me .Then sort out sentimental belongings to assess how much space or weight they take up. Everything not needed or having a sentimental value would be disposed of to the dump ,recycling ,thrift shop, friends or a museum. Selling on eBay or garage sale too much effort and even a bit sad . Maybe some of that sentimental pile could go to a family member for safe keeping but they would not want too much of your stuff either .If they have an attic or basement a blanket box probably would not be too much of a burden on them .

Frankly I am downsizing allready because I will do van life, or an alternative way of living, as soon as my mother has died, which sounds weird. My mother has raised three kids most of her life because my father past away some 40 years ago. That is why she is over concerned. Imagine when she found out I was living in a van? She probably kill me before someone has even tried to. But to return to the question; I have gotten rid of lots of stuff amongst that are 150 dvd's and over 200 cd's, and replaced it with Spotify. I have giving them all away to friends. Gotten rid of my TV and dvd player aswell, gave them to my mom. For the rest goes aswell, when I have it by then, you can take it for free, if not.... Badluck for you. Nice video again! With ❤ from the Netherlands!

Sadly even though your three are well behaved it could be that the Mcvities shop have had some incidents that means they have banned children I think they own Crawford's, I don't know if the Walkers seconds shop has the same rule but the reason a packet of biscuits or anything ends up there either broken or missing one they don't bother putting the outer packaging on (it's cheaper for them to send item straight too the seconds shop than replace and pack). The Roman dig looks interesting if you are anywhere near the A1M junction six Welwyn turn off there's a Roman bath actually under the motorway that you can visit, come off the motorway at six go round the roundabout stay in the right lane come next roundabout go around back on yourself should pickup signs for the Roman bath (you can find it online)

Hi guys, how do you plan your trips? We’re planning a 9/ 12 week europe trip and half of me wants to plan it meticulously to get the most in and the other half of me just wants to draw a rough route on a map and see what happens 🤷♀️😂. We have 4 kiddies between 13 & 3… any tips?
Its a fantastic life really seeing the world. We sold up and went travelling 2007 we sold and gave away everything apart personal stuff which we stored in my mum's attic. We finally settled down again for a little while, had to buy everything again. Then 2014 sold up again, and sell everything again and been out for 10 years now. Seeing the world. Something new every day. It is annoying trying to find a place to get rid of unwanted things that are to good to throw. The biscuit factory love to know why children not allowed in there. It's ridiculous
