Thankyou so much, this was the easiest solution.

At first, I was like, Ahh no I don't have any other Apple Device anymore where I downloaded it,, but after wasting little more time here & there watching other videos on KZread, I was like,, hey wait a minute,,I did have Garrage band once (3 years ago) when I got this brand new MacBook with Garage band already installed... So, I instantly opened App Store and went to "my purchases" and there I found Garage band lying down there. So came back to this video again and started downloading the compatible version (as my Mac is still on Sierra).. Thanks a lot for Help :) bud ! Cheers.

This comment just blessed me cause I just bought a mac not knowing the os was sierra 10.12 and started to panic lol

Absolute genius, it worked, it was in the cache of my purchases and i just clicked on install and it went through in about 7 minutes, so simple but so effective, thank you so much ! you saved my bacon, i deleted garageband cos it was glitching and it wouldnt let me load it back up, but with your advice it did ! Wooooot Wooooot !!!!!!!!!!

You don't need an old account. You can start a new account, borrow a new Apple device and download GarageBand on to it with your account, then log into your old outdated device with the same account and then Apple will offer you an older version to download in your older device.
