Man Gaz is a saint. I passed out on some sofas at 2000 Trees under the influence of a lot of different things one year and woke up to him sitting opposite me, he’d sat there to keep an eye on me. Never met him before. An angel.

Honestly mate this one was a challenge as there was a choice between Shit Music & Overpriced CANNED beer... So Everyone was so pissed about the traffic the whole crowd vibe was off. That said The next few Videos are where it actually Gets good!!! 😏🤘🏻

i got so jealous when you said it was midnight-ish. at that point we had just gotten to our campsite and hadn’t yet begun to set up our tent. we were among the lucky ones stuck in traffic on our coach for 9.5 hours. and then had to walk from the coach drop off at the west entrance all the way to camping plus with no trolley 😬

That sounds absolutely awful!!! The party atmosphere would be totally shattered and you've already lost a day 😒 Really feel for you guys, that should never happen!!! What was it like finding a tent space that late? Were the staff actually helping you?

@@billymayhem the staff on the way to camping plus were not the brightest and sent us in the wrong direction twice 🤦🏼‍♀️ once we got in they were cool. the site was already pretty packed by the time we got in, and because it was so late (and most people were down in the village or sleeping) security told us it was cool if we set up for the night in the fire lane so we could sleep but would have to move in the morning. tons of others did the same thing. we got really lucky and in the morning a few groups right across the fire lane from us upped stakes and moved apart enough for us to squeeze in between the 3 of them. we found out thursday evening that they oversold camping plus by a good amount and actually started turning people away that afternoon. we were able to shake it off and still have a great time, though 😃 it was our first DL and we flew all the way from the US, so no way was i going to let anything ruin it for me.

I absolutely LOVE your attitude towards that situation! I know very few people who would have been able to remain that positive throughout while being consistently let down. I'm so sorry you had to go through that on your first Download! I have only missed 2 since 2006 and this was by far the absolute worst for organisation, so I'm really hopeful it will go back to normal/ heavily improve next year. 🤘🏻

@@psychobetha omg somebody else who also got sent in the wrong direction twice! I was in camping plus too, somehow was super lucky cause our coach was only 45 minutes later than expected. I remember getting back from the village at 3am and all the tents in the fire lane, after security told us we couldn't even sit there with our chairs lol, I could barely get in my tent there was so many. Overheard them saying it was oversold. The walk killed my feet and they've still not recovered haha. But I'm the same as you, first download and wasn't letting anything spoil it. Glad you had a good time anyway!

Paaaaaaaart 2 long walks to the beer tent at £10 a pint? A guess. Who was pulling that cart? Come on man :)

🤘🏻😂🤘🏻 Honestly the night life was so bad!!! But I had to show how little there was to do! Crap DJs and massive DJ change over times which at something like this, a 5 minute break with nothing should never happen!

ALSO MAD We didn't have our grass skate competition haha
