Just to maybe make life easier to some people, by doing this method you basically get a free trial. I unfortunately had to find this out the hard way when doing a very important paper for my school. I am very frustrated now because when the trial expires, you won't be able to use word or any other office application. If you are looking for a long term solution i suggest skipping this video. Very misleading 👎

Thank you! If you guys have some problems after submitting the commands in the Prompt like I did, make sure the name of the .xml file matches the one you typed in the command. I was having some problem because my .xml file name was written in italian, while I was using the command with the file name in english. Hope this was helpful

Dude you're an absolute unit, worked perfectly!! The one problem I had was that it wouldn't change the directory to D:// in cmd, so I just moved the new folder to C:// and it worked. Another thing, if you change the language, make sure to name the file "Configuration" so that the command can work

Finally I got windows from keyr (Make sure to include the dot (.) between "keyr" and "org") I like some of the transitions, but sometimes they're a bit too much and are seemingly random. Since we use these persistent elements that transition across pages to indicate some kind of relationship between the previous and the next states, some of your transitions confuse me because I can't immediately see what the relationship is. For example 2:23 of the selectable tiles (which weren't selected) transition into being two switches... does that mean anything? are they related in some way? I see this as random and a bad use of the design language. However, at 1:14 I like the transition from switches to the ticks on a paper, that makes sense to me. Epic presentation tho

It worked after I uninstalled Office 2013. Thanks! Update: after a couple of weeks it pops a notice to register with a product key! It's not really free to keep. I had to uninstall and reinstall my 2013 version. I've watched over videos like with and they later tell you that if you want to keep this version you'll have to buy a product key.

Connect your computer to your corporate network to complete activation. Your system administrator can help. These are the exact word are written in that pop-up prompt. Help me ASAP if you read this and tell me what to do to fix this problem

Still works as of Nov 2023, but if you're from the UK, then you have to select English (United States) when creating the config file - if you select English (United Kingdom) you get an error that says "Language not available"

If anyone has downloaded office in another language than english, be sure to rename the filename to "configuration". As a german, for me it was initially written with a "k" at the beginning and it didnt find the file. Otherwise great vid, thanks a lot. Well this worked for about a month. Then the next time I ran Excel (as part of Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021) I got a dialog box that said, "This copy of Microsoft Office is not activated." At the bottom there's a button to change the product key. So I guess this doesn't work for very long, after all. Or maybe this issue is because I *once had a licensed Office 365 copy on this machine and I cancelled that subscription*. I noticed below someone has the same problem and you said just sign in with their Office license if they had previously had one. I went to that menu in Excel and saw that it still had my MS sign in name. So now, before I try signing out to see if Office still works, do you have any suggestion as to how to proceed? Thanks!

Note Office LTSC 2021 is installed on the system drive, which is usually the C:\ drive. The installation location can't be changed.

You are showing Microsoft Office 365 at the end of the video which is already activated. Whereas you're showing installation procedure of Office LTSC Pro Plus 2021. After installation it get installed and working without any issue but under activation settings it shows "Activation Required". Also, you've not mentioned anywhere when will it get blocked/unusable due to unregistered status. It is requested kindly share full information without hiding anything from your subscribers. 👍

Hey this is because I didn't removed my license, I just reinstalled office . Just go to file option and sign in with your I'd registered in Microsoft. That's it. If you have bought license yet then you can get it from Microsoft or Amazon whichever you prefer.

Hey man! Thank you so much for the video, as you just saved me from buying a 15 dollar key! All i needed was access to word and powerpoint. For anyone else reading this, if you have another ssd/drive, I had issues with installing the Office to an ssd which was not C:/. It is quite annoying to do this process on a non C:/ drive, so I just recommend you doing it on the original C:/. Another issue I had was that for some reason, my Office.exe file transferred as a shortcut. If you see it being transferred as a shortcut, instead try cutting it from the original Folder and pasting it into your config folder, as that worked for me flawlessly. Overall this is a great video that just saved me from getting a 15 dollar big hole in my wallet.

So eventually after trial you need to buy office. if your default drive letter in not C or if you kept the setup in different drive which have another letter then we require to chnage the prompt first. To change the prompt simply we can type press space then drive letter then enter in CMD.

I'm getting the popup like The copy of Microsoft Office is not Activated. What can i do now....

Guys if the office pack doesn't open after writing the command in cmd, follow this: You should either write "setup /configure configuration.xml" or you did not open cmd with administrator! Like if it was helpful!

do we have to keep the configuration xml folder to make the Office softwares work or can we delete it without any risk ? Because after the installation I assume it's useless now (or maybe not idk). Thank you in all cases the setup works perfectly it's awesome

No need to keep deployment tool nor the config xml file.

The installation process is effective and functions properly. However, a recurring issue arises after 2 to 3 months, where the menu options in applications such as Excel and Word stop working. I have encountered this problem consistently with multiple installations using this method. Is there a foolproof method to install Microsoft Office that ensures no issues arise after the initial 3 months?

suffering from the same problem. after surfing through many youtube videos i came to know that this office TLSC version can be rearm only three times for three months on trial basis after that either you have to purchase it or move to other cracked version. Lifetime free is useless

Hello, I followed the exact instructions, but got a message saying, cannnot install and asked to first install "Microsoft OneNote -en-us Microsfot 365 - en-us. Please help.

I have installed it, after a month, it stopped working asking me for the activation key!

Is that you installed ms office 365

after installation, nothing happen. There's no installed Microsoft. Should I restart my PC?

Has anyone confirmed what TYPE of activation key would be required for activation? He's done a good job of explaining how to install this version of Office, but some people are not picking up on it being a trial version. At some point, you have to buy a key. But my question is what type? Could an OEM or retail key work? Are there specific keys for specific version? Does this bypass having to create a Microsoft account to tie in with it's use and having to register?
