@@splashlog01 u can use three but since it's now unlocked I would use the BTU firmware that would remove all three branding that's the unlocked firmware I use on my unlocked S9+

Thanks for this. I'm going to refer people who come to my video to this one. Android 10 also eliminated the ability to change the APN, which creates a problem for people who use MNVOs.

my phone keeps crashing with Android 10. Got an s9+. And when my phone restarts, my SD gets removed and i have to restart my phone again to get it back. Losing all the downloaded Spotify playlist is really annoying.

Mirror link connection for most vehicles is broken in 10. Biggest complaint on it on the web. Same here. Need to go back to 9. Having trouble with phone calls or any other, clean out cache before boot up in boot manager.

when i type usa for my device it gives me different options under different phone carriers so I selected mine which is usa tmobile and there weren't any A9 or A10 firmwares. in fact nothing came up at all. so what do I do??

unbelievable i was sceptical about trying this on my galaxy s10e but it worked im now back on android 9.0 pie my wifi was always chipping out on android 10 and battery life was bad but now everything working awsomely again thank you android doctor

Yes you can!! Its very easy. Just open your browser and put it to desktop mode in settings. And then just go to the download link and click on join download. Dont click on fast download and then download. Thats all. You will be able to download your file. 😋😋

Hi i just did that on my samsung galaxy A6, the part with Odin worked well(with the android version for galaxy A6) but after the download, my phone stays on the samsung screen for 2minutes and then a windows open with "starting phone and application optimization".After the optimization is finished the samsung screen reapears and then the window "starting phone with application optimization" re-open and my phone just keeps doing this over and over again. (On the CSC option on Odin i choose the Home CSC to keep my app and data)

Power off the device then press volume up home & power buttons to enter the stock recovery in the stock recovery use the volume up and down button to navigate to factory reset >use power button to select reset>then hit reboot the phone should then bootup bro

This my third strike with a Samsung phone. I have this S9 which I bought from a trustworthy friend and it worked incredibly well for a week. It was my alternative to replacing my iPhone SE with the new iPhone SE 2020 model. The S9 was a cheaper and what appeared to be a better choice as opposed to shelling out the money for a new iPhone SE. I was impressed by the S9 but then disappointed when the incredibly crisp and bright display went green and grainy and dim shortly after updating to the latest software. I am not an Apple fan but experience tells me that they are the better or at least most reliable of two evils. I tried to roll back the update following this video but it always fails. Finding out it isn't compatible with the DJI Drone software I use is another major disappointment. Enough time wasted on this.

Hi there ! Thank you for a very elaborate tutorial. My S9+ display suddenly got grainy with black crushes while running on Android 10. The display is clear when on brightness less than 20% but gets grainy with lines on higher levels. Sometimes on rare occasions suddenly the display is getting crisp and staying so at all brightness levels but suddenly while watching a video it would again become grainy and stay like that for a long period. I rolled back to Android 9.0 by watching your tutorial but in vain, problem did not get solved. Any solution to this ?

@@TheRealAndroidDoctor its software problem that overheats peoccesor that causes the screen become green because overheating processor burns little of screen it can be fixed after downgrading or using custom rom or changin display

Hello sir, thanks a lot for the video, I am really considering rolling back to A9. I have an S9, ever since A10 upgrade these things are happening: - side bar randomly crashing/disappearing (no way to get it back instantly, only by reboot, or it comes back up on its own later) - not all SMS messages give notification (no clue why, all notifications are on, frustrating as hell) - app crashes (mainly instagram, but right now Messenger could not access gallery, had to reboot to send a photo) - battery drain feels larger that it was on A9 Anyone else experiencing these? I doubt it's fixable in any other way than to roll back. Thanks again! :)

Android 10 is so annoying, ever since I got the 10, notification keeps on banging and forces you to read an SMS that you didn't bother to read yet, another brag is that most of my favorite apps doesn't work properly anymore some lost their menu, I regret updating it to 10. I read that after the February 2020 security patch update, Samsung also ships an updated bootloader (v4), which means you can’t downgrade anymore. Is this true? I have an S10e.

This doesn't work anymore. Bootloader check will fail.

Hello. It works only if the bootloaders have the same number. Can you downgrade from an Android 10 with bootloader number 7 to Android 8 with bootloader number 6? I guess you can't.

@@benoitdu68920 Hey, yeah.. I was very hopeful in doing this, but unfortunately, I failed in my attempts in doing so. But I found my own ways to trick my phone in turning on with its normal state, but with a few extra steps. I prevent myself from turning the screen on using the on/off button, instead, I enabled on the "Always On Display" in the lockscreen Options in the settings, so whenever I wanna turn the phone on, tap the screen til it lights up (or usually shows the clock details), then the home button appearing on the bottom on the turned on screen, then complete any security setting (or simply slide if you have none) This way, the screen doesn't appear tinted at all. But, yeah, I did it like so for the longest time now. It's better than having the screen look tinted. This error is permanent I suppose. The update messed the sensors on our LCD hardware which also controls light and motion sensors. The only way to fix it permanently is to get it replaced, but it's quite costly. I hope your LCD sensors hadn't been too beyond damaged, so my solution steps can work on your phone too.

U pick the 02 firmware make sure it's for your exact model number also make sure it's the latest Android 9 firmware the last 1 before you updated to Android 10

@@gregdoull1190 u don't need to pay it's free ,I linked my BTU firmware it should download quick within 30 mins ,it should also work if u have the g965f model but remember it will unbrand your device removing all O2 related apps so basically u will be running the SIM free firmware

So u cant use this on mobile ok ok ill try on my pc and see if it works thanks

Look i dont know if these files are safe to use( no viruses, fakes etc.) But my phone updating to android 10 was an complete accident and i saw that my phone started to feel aged af... i wish i could get back to the version where i got it as a brand brand new but tell me...PLEASE...Do i have to root my phone or this is a root cuz i reay dont wanna risk it please reply!!!

Don't have to wipe your phone you can choose another file that doesn't wipe i forget the name but there's 2 files

hi Doctor, what do you think about this?? I asked for help on a forum and they responded me with this: To my knowledge you cannot revert to Pie/9 without loosing warranty. Your phone is on the 965FXXU9ETF6 firmware with CSC code (region code) DTM (which by the way is for Germany). The bootloader binary of your firmware is XXU9ETF6 is 9. Samsung has rollback prevention implemented in their firmwares which does not allow downgrade to a lower bootloader binary. The latest Pie firmware for your region is G965FXXS7CSK6, binary 7, which unfortunately makes downgrade impossible without loosing warranty. Have you tried a full factory reset? It might solve your problems. I see that you are on OneUI 2.1, which to my experience should be pretty good. Battery is awesome. I'm on G965FXXU9ETF5 for the NEE region (Nordic) and everything is fine.

I didn't have a problem downgrading ,however it has been sometime since I downgraded back to Android 9.0 so there's been many Android 10 security updates and patches that probably now prevent the Downgrade,however u should be able to first Downgrade to the earliest Android 10 firmware resulting in it removing any Downgrade prevention patches then after that try the Downgrade back to the latest Android 9.0

@@TheRealAndroidDoctor Hi Doctor, I got another answer: There is no way you can remove the downgrade prevention as far as I know unless you downgrade to a version with the same bootloader binary. Someone in this forum with more experience might have other information (I'm no expert). You are already on Android 10, OneUI 2.1, with bootloader binary 9, and you cannot revert back the regular Odin way to the first release of Android 10, OneUI 2.0, which has bootloader binary 7. Odin will simply prevent that because of mismatch in bootloader binary version. It is correct, though, that you can flash an official firmware how many times you like without triggering Knox - but again that requires the same bootloader binary to work.

@@synthkey7201 I agree, I have tried many times to revert to PIE, the bootloader binary has been locked so you cannot downgrade from 10 and older! As the files from the site , I'm not sure if there is any different from the Stock firmware. So if any expert may confirm working?

Try to go bk to the earliest Android 10 version possible that should remove the new updated bootloader that's preventing the Downgrade ,after that try the Downgrade back to Android 9 pie
