You’re my beautiful Melodyyyyyyyyyyy” You are going to have hard time convincing me that isn’t one of the most beautiful moments of vocalizations that exists in modern media. I get teary eyed and heart beats every time I hear this song. And the fact that Jodi Benson is singing it just makes it all the better, because if someone else was cast to play Ariel in this and tried to sing that song, I honestly don’t think my heart could take it. But this movie was what defined my childhood. Damn, good memories.

Emma Lacasse why would disney make her have a baby at 18 wtf and also, Ariel was pretty young-minded at 16 but she seems pretty mature in this scene, I doubt it only took her two years. Would she even be ready physically and emotionally to conceive and have a baby only a year or two after turning into a human?

Sebastian must be tired from keeping Ariel away from the land and keeping melody from the sea😂😂

And history is made. Ariel becomes the first (and to this day, only) Disney Princess to ever have children.

Amberly Lagedrost she can't be a Disney princess because she originated in a sequel. It sucks but if Disney made every good female character a princess then it wouldn't mean anything. If anything some of the old princesses who did nothing to deserve the spot should be removed. (I mean the ones who were hardly in their own movie... Aurora)

yesterday’s morning this song suddenly popped in my head and i kept singing. my favorite childhood movie😭❤️ the part where ariel sings brings me to tears, and the part where sebastian sings brings joy. i love this ❤️

The fact that a low budget direct-to-dvd film had more soul and liveliness than a 200 million dollar live action remake is quite ironic.

Im late 3 years to this comment but i do like how it sounds personally.

I love the little mermaid 2. Melody remind ps me if myself. And king trition reminds me of my grandfather who passed away. King trition and my grandfather actually passed away the same way. When trition appears at the end if this song I try my hardest not to cry. I love this.

The orchresta is also beautiful. I love it. Minds me of a Tchaikovsky type song

OMFG. I am ecstatic right now! For YEARS I have had this tune stuck in my head and for the life of me I couldn't figure out where it was from. I was pretty sure it was from a Disney song from my childhood but it didn't match any of the Disney movies I looked through. But I had this melody distinctly in my head, it was driving me CRAZY. I finally just thought maybe I made it up because it just did not exist. Tonight I got an ad for Google where they said hey Google what's this song and hummed a song. On a whim I tried it out, humming this tune I that had driven me to the brink of madness all of this time, and to my utter amazement it showed up!! I was hesitant at first, thinking there was no way I could get so lucky, but still having some hope deep inside. As it started to play I could feel the hope intensify, praying that my answer would finally come but trying to keep my expectations low at the same time, for I knew I would more than likely come to yet another dead end. Then the chorus hit....🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🤯😁😁😁 I am elated beyond what words can describe. I can finally die happy. For the first time in a long time I want to thank the ad that has made my life complete. Without hey Google what's this song, I would have never and I mean in a million years never would have guessed it was from a str8 to dvd Disney sequel. Crazy that even with this not being a movie I watched a ton as a kid, that hook stayed ingrained in my memory for over 2 decades. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
