My friend stopped by the gas station I worked at and said "Phil's got a new band, quit your job and let's go!" I walked the fuck out and never regretted it. LEGENDARY. Nobody knew the album at the time, I bought it later, I don't think it was in stores yet at the time? That was a minute ago so don't quote me. The singer for the opening band dropped his pants I'm pretty sure. Might have been on the DOWN II show, but coulda swore it happened at this show.

I was there. Somewhere off to the right and upfront, there's a dude with 2ft long red hair jamming the fuck out. The tickets were like old school carnival/movie tickets they tore in half at the door, so no proof I was ever there. But I'm in there. I still live 5 minutes away from this bar.
I bought this VHS out of a trunk of a car back in '95 when I saw Down in Chicago. I still have it.
God he sounded INCREDIBLE in these days. Never better. Wow
Bought NOLA first week it came out in a music store in a mall. 2 months later I listened to it on my walkman on a bus trip to Army basic training. They took everything from us, including the Walkman with NOLA in it. 8 weeks later they gave us our stuff back. Hadn't heard metal in 8 weeks. Needless to say, it still moves me today at 45 years old!!! Thank you for this gem of a show!🤘🤘

That was badass to see Vinnie n Dime supporting Phil and Down. You always have so called “fans” bickering about Down n Pantera. N how Dime hated down n all this bullshit. People forget Dime and Vinnie had Gasoline… the real fans know though. These were a band of 4 brothers that left an incredible mark history. Let’s celebrate all of their work instead of arguing and debating who’s better n all this bullshit. We lost 2 already when the others go it’s going to be a sad day.
