@@ryanciani3324 you clearly don’t understand how hard being in the acting industry is, and how much it can take a toll on your life as well as mental health. Most actors and actresses try to move on from whatever projects they were known for in the beginning,because they don’t wanna be known for just one specific role.....they just wanna branch out and try different things. Acting in general is very stressful and it can cause some of the most famous actors or actresses to stay away from the spotlight for a while, to grow as a person, and to become an adult which is completely normal. You don’t know what goes on with some of them behind close doors, so before you go judging Dove or any actor.....just remember, they’re still human beings to and human beings go through different phases in their lives. If something about Dove bothers you or upsets you, than you should try not watching any videos of her because it’s actually very easy to do.

I think this is just an everyday makeup look. It’s “romantic” because her face naturally already has that romantic look. Also it’s supposed to be day to night? Where’s the night part? She gets to learn from the best stylists in the industry, that's why. When you spend almost you entire life with these people, in these settings you learn, you pickup things. Many people are into makeup, it's an art form. She probably enjoys doing her makeup and learning how to do new looks. Helps her recognise what she feels comfortable in and what looks best

It’s important to acknowledge the fact that she’s had many plastic surgeries so that young girls and women don’t compare themselves to unrealistic beauty standards. This is nothing against dove, but society puts a lot of pressure on women to look like a perfect doll. Dove had a lot of plastic surgeries since she was really young and she even suffered from anorexia. She fell under the pressure of being perfect. Her face was perfectly designed by some of the best Hollywood surgeons. Let’s not compare our unique features to that. Dove is obviously a lot more than just a pretty face, she’s really talented. Women are a lot more than just beauty. We need to break these unrealistic beauty standards.

I understand what you mean. I believe that everyone should live their life however they want as long as it doesn't impact anyone else. There's nothing wrong with changing yourself. I think you should make the decision when you're in a good place mentally and emotionally and that you should make sure you're in love with yourself, that you're not jumping into things because you think it'll fulfil you in some way but it's your life. The only issue I have is when people lie about the changes they've made. You shouldn't be ashamed and lying only contributes to the toxicity in our society. Dove hasn't lied, she's stated that she's done work on her face but she's also made sure to try to impact her fanbase positively by telling them to care for themselves, find themselves, love themselves. A nose job and some fillers isn't a big deal when you're a genuine person who's not ashamed to admit it and who's making the effort to find happiness within and not by outside sources. And yes, comparing yourself to someone else is never a good thing no matter what. You are you. You will only ever be you. No one is imperfect. We're all perfect.

Okay I get your point luv I really do. But please don’t shame other women to do what you call “uplifting” other people, what I mean by that is you shame girls for getting plastic surgery and then tell people to feel confident in their own body is not saying anything at all please don’t do this it’s not okay you absolutely do not need to call her out on her surgeries to make other people feel confident just say something along the lines of “she is very pretty and so are you” no need to call her out shes well aware on what she got. LOUDER!!!!!! There's nothing wrong with changing yourself, living how you want as long as it doesn't impact anyone else. Dove hasn't lied, we all know she's touched up her look and that's completely fine. It's her body, her money, her choice. I hate how people feel the need to dictate how others should live. Our lives are so short. There's no one correct way to live your life. Someone else living their life to the fullest doesn't affect you. I swear all of these people commenting are just insecure and projecting. Our society brings out the ugliest sides of people. They need to be willing to change, to grow and learn, to let go. Not to mention how hypocritical the stigma around plastic surgery is. Most people aren't natural. We are all impacted by man made substances that change how we look, big or small. How are you going to degrade someone who's gotten a nose job when you shower, use creams, makeup, dye your hair etc???? Hello?????

A lot of young girls feel bad that they don’t have a perfect face because they compare themselves to people (their role models) whose face was perfectly designed by a surgeon and think that is normal and ok. It‘s because when you do your eyeshadow all pretty and your eyeliner and than do mascara it will just get smudged and be all over the eyeshadow! It‘s always better to du mascara first! I will do that too from now on due to experience
