I know right? Every time she's in a musical, her singing is on point. But then I've seen her singing her own songs, from Disney or from her band, and her voice is more shaky. She thrives on stage!

Honestly, I see someone saying they didn't rehearse a lot, so that definitely has to do with it... but also, remember, this is a live performance. In the movie, they were dancing along to their prerecorded track, not singing, so they could do much more dance moves and not worry about messing up the vocals or making them shake.

She did ultra-competitive show choir when she was in high school. Her high school's choirs always win and I know because my show choir competes in the same divisions as her old high school.

Would love to see Dove on Broadway. She is so talented in musical theater.

I saw this live. Got too excited during the “If you change your mind…” lyric for Take a Chance on Me, clapped and “whooped” before I realized nobody else was inclined to do so and accidentally made the cast take a long applause break. Steven Weber was playing Bill, and I swear to god he looked pissed 🤣 also not the first time I accidentally incited an applause break during a performance, though they’re never intentional lol

I prefer amanda seyfried but dove is really good. Idk if it just me but when she sang honey honey it wasn't great cuz it wasn't her vocal range but this song was great for her.
