Why do you “wish” to wear it? Just have a go at them! Usually they sell in RMB or Chinese currency so it’s be a little cheaper 😅

I live in America but all I watch are Chinese and Japanese etc shows. I love this era in time. It just feels so familiar. I love the culture and feel keenly drawn to imperial china mainly. Like tang dynasty and around then. And the literature and poetry and guqin instrumental music.. all just gives me deja Vu and it's all so very.. sophisticated and enlightening to read the materials. If I could of picked a Halloween costume it would've been this not because I want to make it insulting. It's an endearment and positive concept of finding it beautiful and wanting to show the world things to get interested in. I could be wrong, but only saying. I admire these types of cultures.

@@cristinacristescu1173 but Americans wearing them without a solid reason would risk being seen as doing cultural appropriation ironically not by the Chinese and Japanese necessarily, but by americans themselves.

If we'll start wearing other people's traditional clothing, we'll break a lot of barriers and racism or things like that will eventually disappear. Sharing cultures will bring us together.

@@aureliaavalon Yeah i agree, I'm chinese and im personally okay with other cultures wearing our traditional garments, as long as it comes from a place of interest in my culture. Also I think as long as it's not used as just a fashion trend, and is worn respectfully, it's okay. Apparently, the internet doesn't think so- I've always found it weird that Americans online jump out to point fingers first when the people from that culture doesn't have a problem with it lol

@@cristinacristescu1173 I personally don't think we should just "start wearing other people's traditional clothing" since some cultures' traditional wear has religious or cultural significance, and they may feel uncomfortable and/or have some kind of rule in their culture. It's important to do research. However if a large amount of people from a culture has expressed that others can wear their traditional garments, then I think it's okay (worn correctly ofc) But that's just my personal opinion

I don't know America, but in China you can buy a nice hanfu for only $10. If you have $60, then you can choose from all kinds of hanfu styles. The ornate hanfu are often more expensive. In a word, it is not difficult to wear Hanfu

Don't even worry about it, I've been getting a lot further into traditional (and modern) East Asian fashion and I've been looking into places to get hanfu. Hopefully I'll be able to show American people the wonders of this style of clothing ^v^ (btw, I'm not Asian whatsoever, i just highly appreciate their fashion)

한복이 중국건아니지만 한복나오기도 전에 옛날에도 유학이란게 있었음. 한국역사책에도 나옴 한복이 중국이랑 일본의 영향을 많이받았다고 솔까말하면 그냥 한복이 중국옷이랑 일본거에서 변형시킨 형테일뿐임 역사책앤 진실이 있음 일본,한국,중국 역사책 합쳐서 보면 한복이 베낀건지 안베낀건지 알수있음
