@@woolunderwear2522 basically the only reason to use dualie squelchers now is for the slide dodge roll, cuz using ink recover, main saver, and special charge on the dousers helps make up for the poor turfing

Guys it’s almost like the weapon with alot of range is supposed to be weak 🤯

I’m glad to see that they’re not a five shot kill like a lot of people (including myself) thought but the damage is still pretty weak at 25 at the highest. Getting only one dodge as predicted hurts the weapons fighting capabilities especially since dodge rolling takes a lot of your range away. These might have a chance with the right buffs and maybe a good supportive kit.

The damage is 25.5 actually. They really toned it down with the one Dodge Roll but if it has less Endlag or just the same range in turret mode and neutral mode it'll be more impactful.

I think this dualie is more about supportive aggression and so bc of that you have to disengage a lot more often so I understand why people don’t like them but I LOVE these things

Somehow I find it fun once i got the hang of it, got used to it pretty fast

As someone who's been playing a lot (or some) of the DD's (Douser Dualies) I agree as well, it's actually super fun to use. Once you start to get the hang of it and/or have a good kit for the weapon, it's gonna be an amazing tool to use against the enemy team :D

I'm actually in love with these dualies, I alway thought that Gloogas/Squelchers would be the defensive dualies of the class but Dousers feel like a full on defense weapon, with it's long range and nasty turret mode, I'm honestly fine with it's kit because it gives ot more room to set up that defensive trap

This weapon is actually a lot better than thought it would be, but it's still disappointing how much endlag there is after it's one Dodge Roll. The game pretty much forces you to Dodge Roll as little as possible if you want to survive.

Uh the endlag is literally the same as Splat Dualies. You roll as a defensive maneuver instead of aggressive tho since you only get one roll and it trades range for fire rate. But really you just play midline. It's like playing VDS/CDS but you trade mobility for good RNG. You also get an actual special unlike VDS/CDS. Great weapon if you ask me. No idea why so many are disappointed. I guess everyone thinks if a Dualie isn't an aggro weapon it sucks or something.

@@RickyG93 I do not know why your comparing it to Splat Dualie when it has one roll, it doesn't matter if they similar endlag cause they play completely differently and when they play aggressively they move differently. The only reason why anyone is disappointed is probably is cause it doesn't play like a Dualie traditionally so some people don't like it (or the kit maybe). I think the weapon is fire and I suggested less Endlag cause the weapon is a lot easier to kill when in turret mode which just feels off. It's range creates incredible pressure but the roll itself actually takes away that pressure and it's kill power doesn't match with the one roll.

needs some endlag shaved off, rolls are way too committal. it and the brella both need a little help at the mid season patch probably.

i can see it getting an ink consumption buff considering the buffs to most of the new weapons

Also, these dualies finally got me to learn how to use ink mine. After FIVE YEARS of playing Splatoon...!

I kinda wish it had a better sub/special kit, but other than that i think the weapons fine. It feels like the "heavy edit splatling" of dualies with its fast firerate & fairly long range in turret mode. I'd honestly recommend looking up the youtuber Lovestar. They're a great "dualies" player and have a recent video out of them making lovely use of its turret mode

them adding dousers means squelchers 100% will be getting a rebalance, it will shift the usage rates and I'm almost certain we can anticipate it to shift up the dualie class.

I see this as a high risk, high reward weapon. If you dodge roll, you had better be accurate with your shots, especially since they're long range, or else you might lose this fight!

I actually enjoy them, just wish they had a better sub.. is all

To be fair this seems like a zones only weapon for the most part, and ink mine does kiiiinda work for it in that case, it’s genuinely very helpful in that case

@@luckysox8091 it’s just as kiver said, you don’t really use roll at all, I think the only time you typically would use it on this weapon is when you’re making a major play based off your killer wail, which fills the tank anyways, otherwise this weapon just plays somewhat passively, focusing on map control leveraging its great range, that’s my take on it anyways

The first dualie that discourages rolling.

That slight lag in the first match makes me so nervous cuz I don’t know when the game might just die.

when will the next championship splatoon 3 championship take place then I prefer to see you and your team your strategies are so strong❤❤❤

If it’s only gonna have one roll, I think this weapon should have a sliding dodge roll like dualie squelchers

it seems that douser dualies are more based on defense and not attack as a support weapon you kiver you may be used to playing with versatile weapons but hey to improve yourself even more chase247 is here.🎉🎉🎉

I get the feeling Chase will hate these things, considering he dislikes the Dualie Squelchers, which these share a lot of similarities with.

nah i get that but it just goes to show how little most players know about the players of this game. chase is great at this game but kiver is in an entirely separate league far above chase, and there are better dualie players to talk to about it than chase. he just happens to have recognition because yt is the only way to get your name out there with the general playerbase rn. this is not to discredit chase tho, just highlight that there are gaps people arent aware of there.@@sophiecaolin4389

Its not bad, just frustrating bc the .52 got a new kit this season and its a two-shot vs the four shot douser dualies has to offer in a best case scenario

I agree that these new dualies are just not great, there dodge roll is way to long, takes like 2 full secondsto do a seconds roll wich leaves you vulnerable and for someone like me who relies on the rolls, there just NOT good in my opinion.

This weapon is very defensive. Long range and only use roll for short… it’s weird but that’s why it has mines and killer whale. Still it’s disappointing my hype when away, still gonna try to play with them cus they are different and unique.

i find it funny how basically everyone disagrees with this french guy

what’s the point of having amazing range with bad damage and one dodge roll
