once she played in Montreal and the venue jacked up the lighting prices last minute so the promotors gave up on lighting, it was in this crazy loft with skylights and there was a big lightning storm so that was the lighting

Saw her live two days after discovering her for myself about a month ago in a small club near my workplace. Was mostly students who had no idea who she was and it wasn’t crowded. But by god was she incredible and mesmerizing despite the drunk students.

It's extremely educational to be able to see these DJs at work, I learned a lot by seeing them mix and being able to keep up without missing steps. Only by seeing others mix with live performances directly on the instruments did I learn to put 4 decks in time at the same time and I can also mix different styles with different tempos (house and techno for example or house and hip hop), of course no EDM shit, that's it I leave it to the fake DJs who press play and pretend.
