It’s funny how these thick-headed juhaal in the comments are claiming, that the Ustadh حفظه الله is refuting the Muwatta’, clearly they haven’t even seen the video. In summary, the Ustadh actually defends the Muwatta’ from one of its objections people, respectively whether they’re Ash’ari or Salafi etc have against this book. @@Maliki_Madhab I understand.... My question is .. why would malik denounce other Ahadith that are not included in the Muwata'e ? Why did al Awza'ee get angry when other Ahadith were mixed with " HIS " ? Is it like they stopped seeking to know other Ahadith ?

The issue of Habib Ibn Abi Habib was brought up by many atheists and was opponents to Islam throughout history. It was also brought up by opponents to the Maliki Madhab. It’s a valid issue of Hadith and Jarh Wa Ta’dil. This isn’t a Salafi issue, and to view it as such is plain ignorance with all due respect

Do you expect an apology from a people that do not wish to consume that which is contaminated? In reality what you're saying is, we should consume water that is contaminated with najas whilst the need for Islam to be pure outweighs the need for water to be pure. We often hear that the majority of the Ummah adheres to Ashari theology. But what does it mean to be an Ashari if it does not entail a conscious adoption of its doctrines? And surely, the masses/laity form the majority of the Ummah, thus is it true that the masses of the Ummah knowingly embrace Ashari beliefs, whether explicitly or implicitly? Prominent Ashari scholars do not appear to believe so. Imam al-Ghazali (d. 505 A.H.) says in his Iljam al-‘Awam ‘an ‘Ilm al-Kalam that basic Ashari creeds such as denying that God is in a direction would barely be accepted by even 1/1000 of the people, especially the illiterate. As a result, they should not be preached these beliefs, lest it results in them embracing even very problematic beliefs.[1] In his commentary, Imam ar-Razi (606 A.H.) states that most people’s fitrah incline them to agree with Pharoah that Allah is in the heavens.[2] Al-‘Izz b. Abdul Salam (d. 660 A.H.) says in his Qawa’id al-Ahkam that most people fall into tajseem because they are unable to comprehend a being that is not in a direction.[3] He states that it is too difficult for a layman to comprehend a being neither in, nor outside the world, as the evidence for this belief is too difficult to grasp and is not something that people are normally guided to.[4] Based on this, he says this is the reason why the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not instruct the Sahabah to delve into these issues, and the rightly guided caliphs and guided scholars followed the Prophet’s example even though they knew that the laity are misguided on this issue.[5]

This is defamation of the School of Medina. If you want to learn the Maliki Madhab go and learn from a Maliki. Not a Wahhabi.
