DOUBLE your Warhammer from just one box!

Ойын-сауық

Get more out of your Warhammer kits with this simple trick! I used my 3D printer to get more out of the Death Korps of Krieg sprue from my Warhammer 40k Kill Team Octarius box set. I managed to get 20 Krieg troops out of a box of 10.

It looks like you slightly overexposed the prints, which accounts for a lot of the "softness" you're seeing on the edges. On the OG Mars, where your layer exposure times are ~8 sec, drop the exposure 0.5 seconds, and I'll bet you'll find those prints much crisper.

To fit in with the theme of trench warfare with these guys, you could use the arms and other bits to put in the walls of trenches. This inspiration came from my grandfather telling me a rather disturbing horror story that his dad told him when he fought in the first world war. When soldiers began expanding the trenches they often dug into unmarked burial sites of fallen soldiers.

Trouble shooting on resin printers is easy. First thing relevel the bed and make sure its tight. Second, download Ameralabs town and tweak your setting accordingly. You migbt need to tweak your exposure time or your lift speed

if it fails because not sticking to the build plate and instead the FEP, I sanded the build plate with 220 grit (anything rougher should also be fine) and also lubed the FEP with wd-40 dry lube. could also use teflon lube. you could also increase bottom layer exposure, but I went from 30-75 and still had failed prints until i did what I mentioned above. also get your resin to 25c to start your prints helps too. edit: setting are a lot down to the resin you use.

Yes I do. When I say ‘soft detail’ I mean they feel very rounded. On smaller miniatures 3D printers don’t tend to give the sharper edges that you can get on plastic minis.

Im so glad I found your channel and this episode. I had the same issue with not wanting to let the krieg bits to end up sitting. Then I remembered that I had printed some out a while back. Did the same thing as you did. They are a few mills bigger but...Once their in the middle of the rest of the GW ones they blend right in. And you get all the options.. Because there are at least 2 per model. Some with three.. Only issue I found was the gunner arm part number 73 i believe has only one.. So getting all three specialty gunners you will need either a second kit or blue stuff the arm bit.
