Thank you!!! I'm definitely going to try this today. I always struggle with the pass trough since I got so used to doing toe axel with my old coach

Hi Shelly! Thank you so much for your video. My daughter had tried to do her double toe for quite some time and couldn’t get it. Then I saw your video and recommended it to her. She followed these exercises for 3 days and she got her double toe! It is magic! Her next goal is the double axel. Do you have any videos or exercises for double axel? Thanks again!

Thanks for sharing, a couple I have not seen before, like the 1-1/2 forward landing. Cool - did you invent that one? My problems seems to come from dipping my left shoulder(pick side), perhaps not getting the pick back enough (and it looks like you may pick more to the right than I do, almost on a curve (??)), timing/coordination the right outside edge "draw" with the pick hitting, and most......where does the propulsion or spring come from? Kicking with the right (outside edge) foot? Or pushing off of the pick (left for me?) Being right handed, doing half flip, I get good lift from the draw and push off the (right) pick, but the toe loop ??? I dont feel or know where the power/lift comes from. The edge has my lower body rotating......

The toeloop is one of those tricky jumps! It is very important to have control during the three turn so when you pick, you don’t prerotate the jump. I always aim to have the pick stay as straight back as possible. When you pick, that pivot that happens will naturally make you pick more to the right vs left but I always think left so I don’t prerotate. The power for the lift comes from the pivot of the right leg along with the power from the pick. For me personally, I feel the lift the most with the pivot into kick through. In this jump I do not feel that prominent lift power from the pick like I would with a flip or lutz.
