@@TammyGrosso me too, I know on THN which is a little fake to me, there were so many for sale the first 3 years of the show, tiny house listing made it hard to search by putting in the name of the show. One was for sale before they aired! This show is different, people build them and live in them and it's not for publicity.

This !! And it's also great that they are aware that ofcourse the child will get older and the small space wouldn't work as much anymore as I've seen with some other parents only having small bedroom situations for their kids which is ridiculous and not fair on the child/ children in an already enclosed space . It's so great and will make it easier on the whole family dynamics ☺️

The house is nice but it seems that their relationship would make the houses a home! Love the fact that she is able to be home with their child & that he has more time to spend with his family instead of being overworked. To me houses aren’t really special but it’s the family relationship that makes life special. It’s that wonderful wife that makes you feel like you can’t wait to get home knowing she is anxious to see you too & greet you with love. The more simple we make our lives the more we can enjoy peace, nature & the things that make life worth living💯

The little woman waiting at home to greet her man only works if you can find two people willing to go with a more traditional relationship. This would definitely not work for me, as I am a career person--and a woman, by the way. And I've seen plenty of Bryce's videos that show amazing family/couple relationships that aren't necessarily so traditional, esp. the video about Jaimie and Dave's shipping container home which they built together, even working through Dave's spontaneous intercranial hemorrhage. Indeed, many of the comments focus on the couple's relationship, rather than their amazing tiny house. THAT is inspiring to me.

It would be wonderful, as the movement continues to grow, to have a website that has a list of cities/communities that will allow tiny homes. Also, each community's rules for tiny homes would be great. For instance, my city, Des Moines, Iowa USA hasn't approved actual tiny homes that aren't on trailers yet, but they did approve a plan for 24 containers to be made into a sort of apartment building for the homeless.

It is so important to have "good fathers". I did not! It was my one prayer when raising. my 3 boys, that they would be good dads. A kid knows when they are important to their dad and their mom! A kid gets to know who they are having both parents around more. They know what they stand for, they know where their fences and social barriers are and are more validated and sslf-assured. Thank. you Phil for saying what you said about the importance of being a good dad...it soothed my spirit to hear your wise words. Persue understanding ...you are on your way!

There’s another tiny house behind the others ...🤔. Because of you, I have really altered my view of what I wanted to suit the needs of my large family coming to visit me. I always imagined an old Hacienda style, u-shaped building, with a courtyard. Now? Tiny homes!! Around a garden courtyard Brilliant! Self contained, off grid, eco friendly, the list goes on. I have even changed the way I live in my current home, the way I garden, the way I use utilities and store water. It’s because of you two. Your personality is perfect for the interview, the camera Loves you Bryce. And Rasa sure knows the shots to get! Plus, hands down the best editing. I watch soo many videos that are choppy and incoherent. Yours make sense. You understand how someone comes through a door and will look around, methodically. Continuity, It’s important. What a charming couple, lovely homes and so anchored in on the lifestyle they have chosen. I think, if I can say so, that they just may have hit on a really important aspect that many (not all), need and crave...alone time. It is already incorporated into their plan. Many in my gen. feel like we caught short shrift w. regards to dad time...instead we got Dr. Spock and rules and regs and formula(s) in bottles and otherwise. So pleased to see many in this gen. breaking out of the usual mould and embracing the importance of family. I have one of 3 boys who are setting out roots in this direction. A cabin up north where they may spend the summer. He is a business owner, she the consummate wife and mother w. 3 daughters. I hope those girls learn about the importance of family and what it means to BE a family! The tiny home movement embraces that ideal to a T! Thanks Bryce for bringing that message forward...Lord knows we need to hear it more!

Babies that cosleep and nurse do NOT stir and cry much if the mom isn't overtired from ignoring her sleep needs. Nursing mothers never go into REM sleep and therefore are aware enough to wake up from just a few little nudges and grunts from baby.

@@tlqpansy It's so true! I never thought of it like that before but you're so right. If one person can live "tiny" in 350sqft by themselves certainly a family of 6 or 7 living in something 4 times the size should still be considered part of the tiny community. Also congrats on your seventh family member!!

For a very simple reason : the peace and calm on this young couple's face strikes a special note for me and make me pause think...what are we running towards. Thankyou for sharing this video with us. Loads of love and blessings to the adorable little boy.

If the two tiny houses were contacted via a breezeway, I feel it would be wiser. With weather always being a factor (rain, snow etc...) Also building two houses for one family of three, kind of misses the point of “tiny living”.

Loved seeing this as my partner and I want to set up something similar with one tiny house being for living, and one for working (we work in film and boy oh boy are we on the computer a lot editing) and let’s be honest... we’ll probably need to put a bed in that in that one for our alone time. Thanks for featuring this inspirational couple once again! Everyone needs space, especially once a new family member arrives, and I love how honest they are about that.

Could also be money constraint. You just never know what makes people adapt in the ways that they choose. Maybe it was more feasible for them to do it the way they did it at the time it was done. They might do something different in the future too if it isn't suiting their evolving lifestyle.
