This is actually impressive not gonna lie. Freestyling in that Pump It Up arcade, really well done! Big oof for the for the lifebar though. Nice job!

He did a nice job The lifebar doesn't affect the stage completion in this case, as long as enough perfects are hit to make up for the misses (usually at least a 4:1 ratio) to pass. Freestyle isn't about getting all the notes perfectly.

Everytime I try DDR games I forget I can touch the other buttons without missing so I always try to jump over them for no reason

There was this guy in the local arcade that his main goal was to create his own unique coreography for every song in PIU, he even invented a coreography with his friend so they could dance while battling each other, hust for the sake of the coreography. Its been 12 years since i dont go to the local arcade, but i guess he stopped playing too.
