@@cygfyspatyvm3812 nothing really wrong with them. Nothing sundown did, mine just tended to get hot fast but I was at or near 6k a piece. And I didn't like the bass as much as my X18s or the replacement RS Team 18s

I want SALT 8 in Ukraine :) Hope I'll find a way to get it :) Salt amps is the best Korean style amps i saw that able to give so high and clean output! Well, I have experience with Dragster Audio Art (DAF amps line), DD Audio M3c, and I think Sundown Audio will be my next favorite products!

It is losing in my book because it is too damn expensive. It seems to me Sundown has jacked up all their prices. I don't recall the scv-6000 for $1660 because I was going to buy a scv-4000 for around $800 new.

do you guys really think people get uncert numbers and dynamic numbers in every day situations? reason i ask is because smart 3k is doing over 6k dynamic but i think a certified number is more official for every day use and mostly nobody is getting absolute max power out of their amps except maybe the 1 note wonder boxes. have a good one.

What do you recommend for two x15s .. probably this one salt 4 either this or skar 3500 and or 4500... I have a single x15 just got another one but I have to get a box built for both of them and a new amp so almost there but I. Want the salt 4 keep it all sundown

8k power, but call it a 4K 🧐 I’m low key scare to run one kinda unless I properly set the gain to my zv5 15 cause the power this amp is making.

prodanesti you need at least 450 amps available to fully power this amp to get these numbers you see in this video.

Your 100 amp Alt is not 100 amps b/c the car uses amperage to run electrical. You may only gets 50 amps out of it so you would need at least 400 AH of AGM or 80-120 AH of lithium, maybe more depending on what you are actually trying to do.

Lol!!!! So after Sundown got there butts kicked by Orion. These are supposed to be the answer to Orion's HCCA amplifiers huhhh. Very interesting😎👍😂 Cause we all know Sundown was never for running there amplifiers at anything less than 14.4 volts or higher. They pride themselves on running at high ass voltage. Still gotta say though those amplifiers look amazing damn. I see you sundown..... but I think Orion would still be a way better deal. IJS

@@1012taz I've seen more of them at repair shops. Older ones were gems, these new ones aint that reliable, plus they have cheaply made control knobs and heatsink(body)

My stock 220amp alt and 1 battery ran a salt 3 just fine. Now I got a salt 4.

So @ 1 ohm it does about 2500 less than a SCV-6000 and costs about $300 less. Not that impressive.

For 300-400$ more you can get the salt 6 which shits on the scv 6k. So.. whatever in your budget. Run this amp at .5 and it will do over 6k

@@PuReAgonize Actually no... Go look at the dynos... the SCV-6000 does more power than the SALT-6 as well. These amps aren't that impressive to me. You're paying more for less, the only thing these SALT series do well is making power at a lower voltage. Which when running 6k+ amps you should have high strong voltage anyways.

1st and you know 1st gets the amp tested for free...😅

I'm have Orion amps in my truck have had 3 Orion 11000.1d amps all of them caught fire running them @ 1ohm. Yes you can run the dog shit out of them even with high voltage still catch on fire piece of shit Orion amp. I'm run Sundown with a 2 year warranty and if anything happened to the amp Sundown will replace it and you can upgrade. Orion don't

@@compcast Hey Compcast I have a DC Audio 9k replacing the Orion hcca 1100.1 just Intel received the salt 12K. After having the Orion amps and a Truck and having multiple problems out of all three catching on fire I replaced it with the DC Audio 9k that I had laying around and I have not have any problem with that amp at all and I'm louder 158.6 with that DC Audio amp. Sundown salt 12K will here in a day or two.

@Tekboy 808 Yes all three amps caught fire is not a wiring problem I have been in the game for over 25 years I know you didn't ask for my resume but I'm giving it to you I'm OG at this. And I was running the Orion amp @ 1ohm I replaced it with DC audio 9K temporarily and it been in the truck for some months now with no problems at all. I will get my salt 12K in a few days but with the DC 9K is louder then the Orion 11000.1 and my voltage stays over 15 amps. Sorry but Orion sucks!!!!!!! Back in the day they was good I have some OG amps that still work. And one more thing I do know people that had problems with the Orion amp to stop working or same thing caught on fire and Orion take months to fix their amps and return it back to you or they can't fix it because I don't have the parts.

Yep Orion amps are garbage, iv had quite a few HCCA blow for no reason. Then orion will not answer any phone calls, emails, texts, facebook posts to do RMA's.
