There was no physical evidence. He killed the only witness (double murder).

Remember guys, forgiveness is not about the people who want us to forgive them but solely about us, we have to move on and learn to forgive...what will happen to you if you die without forgiving? God himself is about forgiveness.

Forgiveness does not mean Phineas will go out of prison.I totally feel sorry for the family due to their loss but i personally do not think they understand the peace and message behind letting it go.They are not meant to forget but atleast forgive and move on.
