Double hydro is so fun to play. Personally I don’t like Hutao’s playstyle before(maybe because my Hutao is C0?), but using her on a double hydro team made me actually enjoy playing Hutao and have been playing it since Yelan’s release.

@@chorki4801 I didn't like this abyss at all. Couldn't 36*, only got 34. Really liked the last one inspite of the 3 lectors that took me a while to get around. Tanky mobs aren't as cool as actually using skill, different characters that I don't usually touch and such. Shame that they brought the tanky bosses back

As someone who barely has any single-target dps characters (mostly only characters who are better with multiple enemies like childe), I can already see the amount of times i have to retry this and give up in the end. I just hope they arent that tanky than the other floor 12 single targets we had before Update: i 36 starred the abyss, but i had to retry a lot of times. On the first chamber i 3 starred it exactly at 7 minutes, it was extremely close haha. For the second one i think i had half a minute left, and for the third one only 3 seconds. My c2 ayato carried my second team haha

Meanwhile I cleared this with triple hydro with Ayato and Zhongli in flex slot. It's so nice to see those blue numbers flying around continuously as magu kenki and prepetual getting shredded like cheese

Funerational is now my favorite game (Yelan, XQ, Xiangling, Hu Tao) many vapes many blue numbers a lot of single target and decent aoe. Unironically, the hydro resonance make it so XQ heal and dmg reduction from swords is enough to keep Hu Tao around 50% HP without a shield, pretty fun.

Yoimiya and Yelan + Xingqiu basically has the same level of damage as Hu Tao, but has even more flexibility. She’s truly shining more than ever now! :)

Yoo this cycle was so much fun, for floor 11 I use Ayato, Beidou, Kazuha, and get this Xinyan! This team not only did so much damage but the constant shields from beidou and xinyan ment that I didn't even need a healer it was really fun

Yelan was better ( in my experience ) xinqui tho applies more hydro which is a better support for certain team comps

I used xingqui+yelan for abyss today and it was the first time I was able to 36 star without any difficulty. I'm really glad I pulled

I suggest to use Raiden Shogun with Xiangling,Xingqiu for generating energy and Yelan for the massive hydro damage.

That's a good pick, but instead of Xingqiu, I use either Sucrose or Kazuha for the swirl element resistance shred and the HP bonus from Yelans passive because of the 4 different elements

Mono Hydro is very fun, I run Ayato/Tartaglia Yelan Xingqiu and 4th slot can be Kokomi/Mona, depending on if you want a little more damage or comfortability with heals. Use Tartag for even more blue numbers. You can also just use either a Cryo dps for freeze, or a cryo support instead of Kokomi/Mona. These teams are in no way optimal but its funny to see just a bunch of blue numbers and the damage output isnt too bad.

That insane energy recharge, the rotation was flawless

Been using a similar comp but with Hu Tao and Thoma instead. Feels super good.

The thing I hate about her is all the clicking. Ayato being able to spam normal attacks by holding the left click is a godsend. I wish Yoimiya worked that way.

TLDR; Hoyoverse needs to introduce 2 more Xingqius

Xingqiu + yelan is very good combo.. I tried Yelan/xingqui/xiangling/bennet Yelan/xingqui/rosaria/diona Yelan/xingqiu/geo traveler/zhongli Rosaria + diona is very good to get 27% crit rate, shield, healer, consistent freeze Zhongli + geo traveler is very good to get additional -20% shred, +10% crit rate, + 20% elemental damage bonus, shield..

honestly, because double hydro (yelan+ xingqui) is so strong, just put them on any team and that team will still be a beast. Except a team with xiao and ganyu cus yk, they won't utilize their burst very well.

Same struggle for me. I'm at roughly 17.500 now. Been saving after i got Venti. I really want Yoimiya and Kazuha but it's tough not going for Yelan. Nice Personality judging by the Event, she's hot, seems fun to play and Build friendly for lots of Team Comps --> But her Banner 4 Stars really just suck. Ugh. She will come back tho and she'll be back with a Rerun way faster than Yoimiya or Kazu ever will. Probably with better 4 Stars too. Thinking like this makes saving much easier. Gotta be determined 😤

This Abyss is definitely on the easier side. I am so so happy to not have to fight packs of Abyss Heralds and Lectors anymore. They are incredibly boring opponents to fight.

He explains in the start but it’s 2 seperate runs. Hence why the timer on the actual abyss is different to the one he adds via editing.

Did I just see Xingqiu without sacrificial my eyes ahhhhhh my eyes. Xingqiu e generates 5 hydro particles, that’s 15 energy on field and 9 energy off field. And what about favonius? You are using a character that has a 22 second cd skill with 5 particle generation. Not to mention that you have Yelan on the same team that gets the x3 benefit of same element particles. It’s not like Xingqiu e doesn’t do dmg either, high multiplier and C4 gives you quite a bit of dmg. The extra overflowing ER can be easily converted into crit stats or atk% or hp%. Not gonna lie, kinda baffled.

yelan before changed old hair style is much better, depicting youth. Is no one gonna talk about this important?

Ayato is a comfort hydro unit while Yelan is a utility hydro unit.

Both are good but perform different role. In my opinion Yelan is better since Ayato requires field time so you maximize his damage while Yelan can be On/Off field dps and will also provides amp for the on field character.

Yelan is more versatile in her team selection. You can run her in almost every team you would use XQ in except in some national variants and hu Tao teams.

@@sIimepoop no, you can still use yelan in hutao team, even at C0. it has less consistent hydro application than xq, but it still works. C2 yelan is where hutao is comfortable at. but otherwise, it's still usable.
