Liking this, it's a good model, out of the box, but your upgrade is just what I wanting to do, and saves hundreds on the more expensive 010-3, versions,.. Using the Huina tracks and drives and opening cab/ access doors, brings it bang up to hobby grade.. Well done....

I think the Lego tracks look better, not so bulky as the Huina ones..they are 1.14 scale and far too large, the Bruder tracks are good too as 1.16 scale, you could use these and use their excavator rear drive sprocket too...doing mine at the moment, so will try both track systems....

Yes, the size of Lego track is better but the shape and the material is not good. I had also checked Bruder tracks, but it is plastic made. So i choose the metal one.

@@huihhuuii9210 yes, I have gone for the Lego and looks very good, I have also added sprung front wheels, so the tension takes up any slack.. I have filled iin all the track holes, with Unibond metal epoxy, which the same colour as the tracks, so look great,.. As I have blown up the original electronics, I have now installed Flysky, and ESCs. but have now removed the limit switches as these cannot work with the Flysky receiver... I, as you have installed all the machine lighting kit, boom cab and lower car body....

Hi, well I have now done the conversion, like yours, but my circuit board suddenly cault 🔥 fire.😢.. I intend to use ESCs and Flysky receiver and transmitter, to resue the model.. Did you remove all the arm sensors,? As cannot use them with ESCs control... Thanks

I did not removed the sensors but I had changed the position in order to make the front arm more flexible
