I think the only thing i dislike, is the "infinite" combo and the overpowered flying knee, except that, the games is a giant gem.

This game was a total hit here in Mexico in the 80's, I remember an arcade place in front of the main supermarket in my town, so crowded you had to wait long for people to move just to watch it being played, because if you wanted to, you practically needed to book for it, at least a dozen guys were in line for it at any time.

We adventurely rigged the Arcade game where the quarters would go and had free games forever until this lil white boy got mad because you can hit your team mate and we would beat his ass everytime we let him play. He punched me and tried to run to his father and I ran up and gave him a 2 piece infront of his racsit as father. So I won twice.. Childhood memories 😊

This is a great remake. The music for the end stage still makes my heart beat faster. Lot of quarters spent back then,

FANTASTIC! I played this game when first came out in the arcades in the 80s, and this fan remade its really awesome, double dragon I and II together with powerfull combos and mobility....

Didn't know the 'Reloaded Version' until I watched this, looks fun and I wish knew this version back in my childhood :)

This video reminds me when I was very young, watching the older boys were playing arcade games in a small game center somewhere in Gangnam, Seoul(Abeque Game Center at Yung-dong Market exactly). Can't believe It's over 35 years ago!

Since I was a kid early 80's double dragons series are the best games I ever played I'm 42 now and I'm still playing lots of versions of DD ! The only thing looks to easy same uppercuts and knee kicks lol ! But love the music

Assault isn't really good parenting, bestowing your knowledge is but ok eg i had to deal with racism/bullying from EVERYONE growing up from pre school (kindergarten) to now (i'm 41) high school we had a new principal who wanted to change everything as a means to make the school better, near a corner shop we had video games, this NEW principal thought it was more becoming of us to make me stop playing despite i had already paid, abolishing cool sports eg bowling for interstate sport. Did i get smarter? did the racism bullying stop? no!

I love these old beat em ups, and it’s because they taught us that bad people come in all shapes and sizes and if they beat up, kidnapped, tortured and killed someone that you loved just because they wanted to, it was ok for you to go out and kick their asses, despite what race or gender they were. Ah, the 1980s. Where one had to watch out for karate gangs all the time. If they had a large dude that looked like jay leno you knew they were serious.

Yup considering the creator of this game yanked all the downloads down. Someone made a comment and he got butthurt and stopped working on it. Shame because it's amazing. I have about 3 versions of the game. Highly recommend if you can find a place to download it.

About the closest you can get is "Double Dragon Advance" for the GBA. The moves and everything are the same; but graphical and stage layouts are different

In Karachi Pakistan, when this game DDI comes out it was a huge hit and we children just see standing for hrs...the coin cost was just Rupee 1 .. I mastered I & II and children see my game...MY CHIKDHOID MEMORIES FABRICATED WITH GAME...but this fan made DD just freezes me....♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍👍🌷🌷

At the beginning of this game, after I just gotten up from beddy time, Jimmy Lee started hauling so much ass. I couldn't help but joyfully watch and laugh my ass off. Speedrun = Uppercuts = Lmao! I like that. I think this is a really good run. A few choke points, but would be interesting to see how you could improve. I definitely took a lot of good notes from this.

thanks man. Yeah, there's certainly some stuff ups here, but I struggle to do a perfect run. What doesnt help is the frameskip I get sometimes running this full screen, which does affect the gameplay for me with enemies still doing stuff while I cant.
