✪ Double Dragon 2 (Arcade) - One coin whole game, hard

Ойындар

"Double Dragon 2: The Revenge" completed with on coin on hard difficulty.
Double Dragon was a hit so sequel was logical. The sequel is much harder to play mostly because of huge slowdowns in game. It's really annoying. Very rarely, when on a screen there is only one opponent, game will run very fast. Maybe too fast. But when two or more opponents are on the screen it will become slow motion.
Controls are little weird again, but after little practice they become very simple. Some old moves and strikes are not present in this game, like headbut and leg kicking. But they included couple new ones like spinning kick that is very useful, knee kick that can kick opponent when he gets up from the floor, and some spinning/helicopter kick that I didn't found useful. Visually, DD2 is copy of DD1 and second level is identical as in the first game.
By mine opinion time in some levels is too short. Last boss is cool, but ending is a bit pathetic. This would be great game if there was no such slowing in the game.

The picture has been taken before she died. The doppelgangers are the evilness, the dark side of the lee´s brothers heart, a shadow of themselves originated by the physical loss of Marian.

I also played this game the way at arcades, that is to kick once to stun then turn face towards opponent and grab by his hair and further hit. Also, similarly, kick larger opponents in parts, that is to kick at top of screen, then come to middle and hit and then finally hit him at the bottom of screen and also using elbow shots for some opponents. Lovely to observe someone playing my way. Great video.

I go for points when doing a DD2 run. I always kick the grunts once, stun them, then go for a roundhouse kick for big points. Stage 1 boss, one back kick, turn and give him a uppercut - goes down quick. Stage 2, I get Big Bubba on the conveyor belt, lure him close and punch him and end with a uppercut. Stage three, I give the karate dude a kick then turn around for a uppercut. This works for your shadow doppelganger too. The real trick is when you get two of the bigger bosses around, always fight in pairs. Notice in the vid one always walks in a daze when two or more on the screen. You can kick the shit of of them with this strategy. On the last fight, you can inch way to the screen and take those guys before Wiley comes out.

+Clarence Boddicker Yeah, DD1 is actually easy game while DD2 requires some carefully playing. But lag is what ruins DD2 and makes playing much more difficult. There is way to reduce lag within emulator options, but I didn't dig that at the time of playing this game.

Granted, some of the levels share similar themes to the original (a factory, forest, etc) but the layout of each level is completely different. There are new weapons, new enemies, new moves, new bosses, etc. Plus the colour palette has been expanded too. Not sure how you could call this game the same as DD1.

The ending is easy to explain. The picture was taken before Marion was killed. The Lee Brothers got revenge for her death. She was murdered in the arcade game. In the NES version she is killed but she is brought back to life when the Shadow Master died, a angel came down from heaven and brought her back to life.
