Carbide burrs in the premium RHODIUS TOPline range are available in two different cut types. The first type is the Z6 double cut with chip breaker, while the other is the Z3 single cut. But what are the differences between these two cut types?
Both types of cut offer a long tool lifetime, paired with high concentricity. However, the Z6 double cut offers more aggressive material abrasion with a high volume of very fine chippings. In contrast, the Z3 single cut focuses more on surface finish quality, with slightly lower stock removal than the Z6 double cut.
