Im trying to learn single corner right now. Your content is great! However its very hard to parse to find the openings I’m looking for. Have you ever considered making ‘opening specific’ playlists? Or maybe your own idea to find all the ‘single corner’ stuff youve done over the years?

I appreciate the feedback, thank you! In full transparency, the Single Corner opening, as well as other unrestricted openings are not really my specialty. I do try to cover them, as I know they are popular among most players. I completely agree with your suggestion about creating playlists specific to openings, and this is my future plan for the channel. In the interim, I do believe I have two videos dedicated to the Single Corner: One is my live stream (Single Corner is in the title) and the other is in my "A beginner's guide to winning at checkers" video -- it's featured after the 9 minute mark. Hope this helps!

Great Vlog it still amazes me how technical draughts is. As I’m learning, I was told learn 1 opening as red and 2 responses by white and develop from there also get to know basic strategy Was this sound advice and any ideas on openings and responses to look at ??????

Thanks, Rob! This is a great question, and I think in your case, it's a bit unique. Even though chess and draughts are two completely different games, there are some basic strategies that can crossover. For example, capturing the center of the board is important in both games, as well as timely sacrifices. If you are able to employ those basic strategies, along with attacking your opponent's double corner while protecting your own, then I don't recommend learning any openings for now -- just play! You'll know when you'll hit a wall and when the time is right to actually start studying published play and learn opening sequences. But for now, I recommend just playing and seeing how far you can get on your own!

​@@robtaylor9782 Ha! I think that's a great idea! Although, you might find many will play into the Bristol opening by exchanging 15-19 after 11-15, 24-20. Do you have Lees' Guide? If not, I definitely recommend checking out that book, as it provides play on the unrestricted openings.

I recommend playok.com -- I find it to be the most professional site, and there are options to play 3-move or unrestricted, with great time controls. Flyordie.com is another alternative as well.
