I forgot that Sera exists as a card and so before opening the video i was like okay yeah we Selene the Alioth, to make it -1, we then draw the Grandmaster so that it wouldn't have received the "affliction", and FINALLY, we draw the Ravona so thay they're both discounted!! Or ... we play Sera.

Just finished watching this. Started up a game with Surfer+GM deck and pulled a 0 cost Alioth from the raft! I was so bummed when opponent left on turn 6! It would have been glorious

Dude this video just saved me from an alioth and they say KZread dosent teach anything 😅. Not only that your negative miek deck won me the game . Literally thanks to miek 😊

The really messed up thing is that, if you wanted to really get messed up about it, you could swap out Crossbones or Warpath for Absorbing Man and play 3 Goliaths in one game. Wave on Turn 4 -> Alioth Turn 5 on a side lane -> Absorbing Man on the other side lane and Grandmaster on Alioth Turn 6. It'll almost never actually land, but it's possible.

14:33 Actually, if the Silk rolls right there you'd only have 13 on the left. Yes you get a doom bot there, but you lose Doom himself (and Silk would be right). So Silk messing with Grandmaster there actually won you the game 😅 (even though it was less total power)

In that kamar taj game with iron heart, would have got mad power if you’d have played it mid - would’ve gone off twice, then moved right, then you grandmaster it back into mid for another two hits totalling 24 power.

Look on the bright side, this will force a Alioth rework just like it did with the whole Spider-Man lockout circus

Replacement for gladiator?

There was a way for the opponent to win on the first game. Living Tribunal played left would have done it. If they’d happened to have Living Tribunal in a Shuri/Sauron deck and realised what you were up to, which are both pretty unlikely.

any good non reveal stats, point of the deck is to get tempo prior to alioth

Hang on, for the silk game that ends at 14:50, wouldn't regis have lost if silk moved right? Doom would move out of left before adding doombot, and silk would not have moved back left, so regis would have still lost mid, and lost left at 18, even if mid and right would have had more power.

Which means Regis won on the 50/50 on whether the silk moved from mid to left or right, or 1/3 based on the locations of cards played for turn 6

So many of these games feel like you are intentionally avoiding making good plays, just for some last turn Grand Master action and getting tilted about it over time. I don't know about you, but I never saw the appeal of shooting yourself in the foot.
