One of the worst updates of BGs. Duos is just another merc mode = trash. New patch removed the fun stuff and replaced it with mid-range shit. They need to nerf beasts to zero and fix mid-range dragons, maybe if the game would be more balanced it might be enjoyable even if it has no fun stuff. For casual like me this new patch reminds me of the launch patch of BGs, way too bland. Hopefully they bring back some fun mechanics (buddies, quests).

The comps you just mentioned are really not that strong, just easy to play so probably do well at low elo. Graymane, eles, pirates all super strong and hard/fun to play

@@Dreammuncher I was 8,5k last patch so I would think I don't play with beginners only. I'd say 80% of the games tempo dragons/beasts run the lobby dead by turn 9. I've seen only few high roll demons/quills/elys going for 1st place.

@HairyButWhole yeah maybe not elo then just because the patch is new and people aren't used to it yet? Last game I played I low rolled shop demons (didn't find attack buff deathrattle) and it cruised to first past combat dragons and self damage beasts
