I love that Ren went old school battle rap, because Dotta was saying at the time that Ren could never really be part of the culture. So Ren took it back and showed that he respects the culture even if he has different roots to those that started it. Was a cool way to slap down and then shake hands. Such a Ren move all round. And Dotta's subs rocketed, then were boosted again when he did reactions to Ren. The battle with Knox is very funny. Knox did two KD disses pretty much back to back and they're hilarious.

Great reaction! Before Ren did this diss I had a hard time imagining him doing it. But after seeing it I was happy with how he both respected the battle rap tradition and then flipped it around in his own Ren way. In other words, he stayed true to really is. It even got me to delve into Dotta's music and watch his recent Ren reactions, which have been pretty supportive. Ren also dissed MichelleShow (another music reactor), who had been dissing Ren. But I was surprised to see MichelleShow give Ren some flowers for some of his songs! All I can say is that Ren is tough and resilient and yet kindhearted. He even "battle-rapped" his Lyme disease and flipped that relationship around as well. 🤠 One last thing: Recently J. Cole did a similar thing after dissing Kendrick Lamar. He publicly--on stage--apologized to Kendrick for some of the things he said. Personally I thought it was great that he did it. But a lot of KZread reactors and fans went ballistic against Cole.

This all started with michelle show stiring up shit by telling Dotta that knox is dissing him in some way in his track, Eminem "Killshot" Remix | Knox Hill [One Take Video] as there's a line at 0:43 thats a bit ambiguous. But Knox said he had never heard of Dotta before so 🤷‍♂ Then Knox came out with "Stan" Remix | Knox Hill (Diss) , It's too funny to miss. and then "Patiently Waiting" Remix | Knox Hill (Diss) Which ended with what you watched between Ren and Dotta. And yeah that car park in Ren's video dose look really clean as if I remember correctly it's the loading bay for the hospital in Canada where he was getting treatment at the time. I don't recall Dottas diss tracks to Knox but Knox mentions them his diss tracks so there out there. If you do a quick search for them they should show up. I hope I right on that timeline of events if not someone please correct me or add info I'm missing so Jay can enjoy

You should check out the Dotta and Knox beef too.... Just saying.. Dotta put out the first diss then Knox dropped Stan Remix and Patiently Waiting Remix 24 hours later when there was no response from Dotta....i think Dotta responded like a month or two later with 2 or 3 more songs but i haven't heard them TBH

No such thing as hate rap.... This is what MCs do, they test their skill against each other, get out Ya feelings

Even Dotta acknowledged that Ren won this one, easily! :) Tbh, Dotta's rap style is exactly the type of thing that, until Ren opened my eyes to what rap could be and sometimes is, was largely what put me off rap in the first place. Dull, unoriginal, cliché ridden uninspiring lyrics, delivered in more or less the same flow throughout, an incapability of allowing any REAL vulnerability at all, also delivered in close to a monotone, the music/beats created by somebody else, produced to death... A little unfair perhaps but that's what I used to feel about most rap, especially post millenium rap. Dotta isn't a terrible rapper but he most definitely isn't a great rapper and it's nothing hat we haven't heard 10 million times before. It's eminently forgettable... In contrast, Ren's music and lyrics get lodged in your brain and it's deep and profound, with breathtaking, clever, poetic wordplay, dripping with emtion, empassioned yet masterful delivery and the next minute, absolutely hilarious! :) He evokes every emotion in others because he doesn't just sing, rap and play, he feels! He lives it because he HAS lived it and, more importantly, learned from it. Ren's just a completely different level! :)

First Dotta tried to diss knox. Knox did two diss tracks towards dotta. Then dotta did the track about ren. Then ren did his diss.
