Manta gives 120 mana(takes 125mp to cast illusions), illusions are squishy as hell and do no damage(there was a vid where dusa with linken skadi pt and manta lvl25 casts illusions and they are killing a 1lvl bara with PMS for like 10 seconds or something) and the main medusa's mid-game counter which is disarm is now purged only by spell imunity so the advantages manta gives to you are just not worth 5k gold, i believe now it is much better to buy bkb

+TheLeagueoffailure it's only good for farming and there are better items to put on dusa since it's relatively mediocre. skardi gives more stats, Daedalus mkb gives more damage and dusa is one of those hero's that you genuinely want rapiers on, kinda like an ember an a kunka
