    Thank you for making this so clear for us all. I’m quilting on my Wards Signature White sewing machine(circa 1967) and so far everything is working well. Thank you again.

    Thank you for this fab new series Angela - you make long arm quilting so do-able by simplifying and breaking down each pattern into a number of lines of sewing. Your templates and approach have really helped with my long arm journey.

    SO looking forward to this challenge. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of quilting with all of us. I've been watching you for several years and always enjoy your videos. Would you suggest that I quilt around the black outlines to stabilize the quilt layers?

    Do you think you might consider doing a block of the month quilt, something quick and easy? Also a quilt in a day or even a quilt in a week or month, something for those of us who have lots and lots of material to get used up?

    The expanded resource materials are missing most of the page numbers. Please be sure to include them in the future. They are so helpful. I keep them in a notebook but take out separate pages to keep close for reference, and it can be really tough to put them back into the notebook in proper order. They have been a great help in other quilting projects. I am so excited to get started on this FMQ Challenge.

    When you refer to medium and large size blocks… what sizes would that be, roughly? 6 “ and above or ..?

  • @AngelaWaltersfmq

    @AngelaWaltersfmq

    7 ай бұрын

    Yep, in my mind small size blocks are 5" or less, medium size up to 10" and large is anything beyond that. But that's just my opinion lol!!

    What bothers me is that when you join those beautiful diamonds you will have to sew over those points, those extra-ordinary amazing points. Please tell us how to preserve those points!

    It looks like you have stitched all around the borders of the square before you began the design itself. Yes? If so, why?

    With fleece I would use poly thread not cotton. Make sure bobbin is inserted correctly, and check machine timing is still okay.

    I'm sorry, that can be so frustrating. Make sure your quilting foot isn't too high. If you can adjust it, try lowering it a bit and see if that helps.
