This week on Dostie's View Craig gives his update and experience with the 22 Designs Extra Soft Plates for the LYNX 2-pin tech toe NTN Telemark binding. The new offering from 22 Designs gives Telemark skiers the ability to soften the feel of their binding flex.
About: Craig Dostie is truly a pioneer of backcountry and telemark media. He was the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Couloir Magazine from 1988 until 2007. His publishing company at the time also created Telemark Skier Magazine in 2003. He has contributed to countless articles on the subject of backcountry & telemark skiing and is the one that coined the term EARN YOUR TURNS. He’s a true legend of Telemark.

My early Lynx pivot pins backed out. 22D promptly sent me new toe assemblies at no charge. Excellent service 👍 Personally, I wouldn't want a softer plate. In fact, I installed the spring spacers for an even more active feel. EDIT: Based on the active vs. stiffness video Josh posted below- adding spring spacers increase stiffness, not activity. I think I have my SLIC pins in the middle holes.
