I'm a 57 year old man who went through almost my whole life ignoring the Golden Girls because I assumed it was solely a show meant for little old ladies. Boy was I wrong. Golden Girls is a wonderful show, expertly written and acted. It's a riot.

I was a 12-14 year old girl, when my mom forced me to watch the series, so Golden Girls was not a series I was willing to watch since it didn't contain any of the things that I like to watch (animals, crime and supernatural). But after watching 10 minutes of the first episode, I was hooked on the series.
