I grew up watching Dorothy Paul, My Grandmother & Mother were big fans of hers. I was lucky enough to meet her backstage after her show a few years ago. She was the nicest person you could meet, very down to earth and a real Superstar and Legend, I will never forget meeting her!

I met Dorothy Paul in Murdock Park about twenty years ago, while I was walking my dog. I didn’t want to disturb her peaceful walk by saying I recognised her, so we meandered round the park. She was so friendly and well spoken that I think we both enjoyed the banter and the serious chat too. When the time came to part, she said it had been a lovely walk, and she hoped we would meet again. Then it slipped out when I said it was a pleasure, Miss Paul. Quick asa flash she retorted oh I was not talking to you.I was talking to the dog ! Lovely lady.,
