    Jack has gotten a lot better with these long form conversations as he’s gotten more experience. I remember his very early ones and at times I wanted to say, “Hey, let them elaborate on their stories before you jump to respond!” But as the professional he is, he quickly became very good at it! 🇺🇸

    Great interview Jack. In his mannerisms and thoughts, I can see Doron is a pained man but he obviously wants to project strength for those around him and is trying to maintain clarity of purpose through strength of mind. It's a warrior's mentality on display for the world to see and I hope he makes it through this time unscathed, so he can process the emotional toll of recent weeks and the coming months in peace.

    There will be no peace if Israel does what they planned to do. There is hurt on both sides. Atrocious acts are committed worldwide because of hate towards Jews and Palestinians. These leaders need to man up and say we have been wrong, what we have been doing is wrong. Too many people have died. There is no need for military weapons. Nor War. This virus of hate is worse than cv19.

    He just explained they cant have less stringent gun laws because weapons would get into the hands of lone wolf terrorists. The reason they have to use knives so often is because guns are hard to come by. If ARs start going missing there will be mass shootings by terrorists every week.

    Not so. I am Canadian. Like almost all Canadians, I do not have a gun. In Canada we have an extremely low rate of gun violence, while Americans have the highest in the world. It is YOUR duty to simply lay down your arms!

  • @superdog1964

    @superdog1964

    8 ай бұрын

    You have a population of 38.5 million and we have a population of 331.9 million. When you break it down, Canada has a crime rate close to ours. Most crime occurs in big cities. We have a lot more cities than you. It seems crime is much lower in rural America. Do you know why? Because the majority of the population is armed in rural areas and the criminals know it. There is no such thing as "gun violence" it is simply a device used to commit crimes? If you are choked or stabbed to death? It's irrelevant, as the act was still committed and you are still deceased. If you remove all of the firearms in any country, the crime rate will not lower, as other objects like knives, clubs etc. would be used in their place. Violent people care about the ends and NOT the means. By adding all of the suicides and/ self inflicted gun incidents to the list of so called "gun violence" statistics, it makes it much higher than it actually is. Even gun owners like me cry whenever someone is harmed (Especially kids). If I knew without a doubt that by giving up my guns forever, not a single person would ever be murdered again? I would melt them all down in a minute. You and I both know it would be impossible. Humans have been killing each other long before recorded history, long before guns, swords and even clubs and spears. I respect your wish to end crime and violence and I also share those thoughts. I simply disagree with your method to fix it. Rather then focusing on a lump of metal, we need to focus on the actual root of all homicides, rapes, crimes etc. That would be the human being actually doing it I wonder how well your argument would do right now in Israel? A lot more people would be alive there if they had the means of protecting their families, friends and neighbors for sure. They tried the no guns and lock yourself in a safe room until help arrives plan. Guess what? The bad guys had guns (because they always will), and it seems that their safe rooms were very strong, so the bad guys simply lit the structure on fire and burned them out. That process took awhile, and.................. Last but not least, it seems that help never arrived? When seconds count, first responders are ALWAYS just minutes away. The only person you can rely on for you and your families safety is YOU! Many funerals could have been avoided from this horrible situation if the people of Israel were allowed to have weapons that matched the enemies and leveled the playing field (Maybe the terrorists would have even avoided them completely?). Why some governments take away the right of self protection and preservation is something I will never understand? Until this world becomes an actual utopia and violence is a thing of the past, the individual right to protect oneself will always be needed. I doubt very highly that this world is headed there anytime soon? So in the meantime I will fight for my right to keep and bear arms.@@fredrickpritchardpiano4103

    Humility is an important part of being open to self-improvement. Hold your head high. I've heard a similar sentiment from Aussie diggers, and I like to remind them that deterrence is the first line of defence. To avoid war and combat can speak highly of one's readiness, the value of the organisation you have contributed to, and prove your worth - just as combat does in a different way. Cheers from the land down under 🍻

Can't speak for everyone here in Naptown. But you, your family, your country 🙏 are in my prayers!! Even the innocent children of the strip. Sadly 😞 I just realized I'm praying for your enemies as well... That they are blessed to meet their maker expeditiously ✊

    Finally hearing an account how this happened. I had a feeling that the Sabbath played a part with electronics being off limits but also wondered about a hack into the system. What I will never understand is how Israel citizens who live constantly under threat from an enemy right outside the border and citizens don't at the very least have the choice to own arms to defend their homes and loved ones. I hope that issue is now being remedied. every man and woman should be able to arm themselves to protect their castle. I don't care how good your military is. No one can be everywhere all the time at once.

    The torture like that is truly beyond my understanding. And honestly I feel like it’s beyond anyone’s understanding. My novel is gonna be tough because writing something with modern warfare seems moot because we’re potentially going to all be living it. I sometimes wonder what’s the point, yet it’s inspiring too. But with any war, the civilians are the ones who suffer the most.

Men, like Doron with his humbleness, determination, skills & love of his country will be victorious. It's not a if, it's a when this will happen.

    @@serpentines6356 that’s a debate that would take a while. Look there could possibly be a terrorist attack here, but the United States would crush them in short order. We are done hopefully with these long police actions, cause they weren’t really fought as you would fight a war to win no matter what they were called, that is one reason supporting Ukraine is so important. Keeping that fight from spilling out of Ukraine keeps our troops mostly at home. Israel the same way. Am I in love with Bibi’s action. No. But Russia has been a sponsor of actions against Israel since WW II. Israel is the more powerful now and people tend to lean towards underdogs because people are good, but Israel was the little guy Underdog until the 6 day war. If they would have lost they would have been pushed into the sea.

    @@locomotion3656 Well, my point simply was that Biden majorly screwed up our border security on day one. It's horrid. A countries border is to help protect a country. Not allow millions in,l illegally, and not even know who half of them are. Absolutely insane. Unless, you care about actually protecting the country more than some ideological bs, and pleasing a faction of your voters. I am very aware of the Israel situation. Many people like the J's being the underdog. Quite sad.

    @23:15- The gun safe/ locker is recent in the US. Go back to when I was a kid and parents taught kids about guns from a young age. It was daddy's or grandpa's gun(s) and you didn’t touch them or hells fury would come down on you. The lack of that structure lends to the BS of today.

    I think this weapons staying ‘on base’ will likely be a thing of the past once again; Precisely because of the attack. I’ve also read that Israel has somewhat relaxed private carry in just the past 10 days; But they only increased the ANNUAL ammo count from 50 to 100 rounds.

    My question is if you lost all video surveillance and all the command post screens went blank then why wasn’t anyone sent immediately into the area ? And I have another question, how is it possible the terrorist were able to open the hatch door on the tank ?
