It took me 4 minute to solo down the 3 player version of Galactus. I cant even do damage to Dormammu, these gbr are way harder.

Thanks for the tips Alex, just wish we all have 25%pierce so we can also say it is awesome game content.

Bro an account with less pierce then me. Did more damage with Dr strange because he had a rage and Dr strange had an mighty destruction so yea rage is really got for Dormaamu.

@@omglol9571 yeah i have 10% pierce and a rage with about 140% en+all attack and while i can solo dormammu (on solo mode blast day) others with more pierce cant. Pierce dmg is being reduced so its not that important in phase 2

Man, this thing about the buff removal is crucial. I hadn't noticed at all, so on the second phase I was doing no damage. Now I'm bringing 2 DPS and switching, and I've cleared this thing twice in the last hour already. Thanks a lot for your insights and tips!!

@@Zain10097 DPS means damage per second. It's used to refer to high damage dealing characters, as opposed to leadership characters, support characters, and useless characters.

I think when multiple ppl get sent to the “mindless zone”, it’s cuz a person can’t beat it in time. So the person essentially calls for back up

One more thing, when there is fire wave that comes from left to right or right to left, you can predict from which side it will come. There are 2 attacks that precede the purple wave one, single-red-normal one and right after it double-red-normal, the side where the single-red one spawns it's the side when purple attack will start coming from, so you want to go to the edge on that side. For example: when single red attack is on the right side, you are going straight to the end of right, because the wave will be going from right to left. Hope it helped

It will, when I am able to clear the fight at all.

I can solo kill Dormammu in 6 minutes (his HP is 980 million), but I've never done it as a team. The fact is Dormammu's HP will increase to 1.49 billion when there are 3's team gets in the battle. But I have randomly teamed up more than 30 times, and there is not even one time the other two people can add up to 100 million damage, I'm just speechless...

I can do about 85-90% of the damage, but I didn't know about the switching characters for buffs thing. Too many garbage players hop in hoping to get carried though, they really shouldn't be in there.

IDK, I find it weird to gate T4 mats behind a piece of content that is designed with lvl 80, T4 characters in mind. WBU still dropped T3 mats even after WBL was introduced - yeah, you get more for playing Legend but Ultimate still lets you amass the necessary resources to get T3s to fight the Legend boss. The Dormammu fight is cool, it's a good pure DPS check but that's a complaint I have. Also, Galactus is now absolutely irrelevant once you get Surfer - he's harder than MM while giving you the exact same rewards. Reward scaling and player progression seem to be an ongoing issue 7 years into the game's lifespan.

They should at least up the ctp drop rate for galaxtus and dormamu because I've been playing for the last 2 years and haven't got nothing for that mode. Dispatch and story I have gotten multiple and dimension missions with hidden tickets I've gotten 3 since February with that mode alone I'm really curious what gbr's drop rate is

burying T4 progression behind game modes scaled for T4 power is truly awful game design. I'm genuinely shocked they did that. whales like Alex won't mind, but for most players it's a ridiculous situation to be in. the Dormmamu fight is mechanically wonderful, but that second phase damage reduction is atrocious.

I am a decent players and due to inconsistent teammates I haven't been able to clear it once. And I have good characters like Dr strange, ghost rider spidy thena makkari of ranking and some under 1000 ranks

This is exactly what I was saying on Day 1 of the update. It's pretty much useless to play Galactus since the rewards are exactly the same as Master Mold (Unless you get sick & tired of him that is). IMO, Galactus should have had a tiny portion T4 mats. And Master mold should have had crafting cubes. Also Master Mold & Galactus are basically like Legendary Battle. Get the 10 P Card tokens & GTFO.

Hey Alex, just wanted to wish you a great holiday! The content has been amazing and much appreciated but I hope you're still taking time to enjoy your time off.

The mechanics were for the most part easy to figure out, the one that went unnoticed was the buff removal, but that's my fault for not really looking at my buffs, I have a bad habit of usually only looking when it deals with my Strike Proc or Insight Proc. This definitely clears up that issue.

Fantastic video as usual, especiallyyy that your on vaca and still doin this lol appreciateddd Did not know about the buff strip during mindless zone and to switch characters. Makes sense why my damage went way down at parts of that phase. Thanks!

I guess I'm too weak to play Dormammu GBR cause every time I enter a lobby, people just kick me out.

You just have to set up your team for the other to see and know that your team is good Leader,Sup,DPS if I saw sharon as lead I will kick them aswell because that's not a good team

It's not that you're too weak. It's that when you can't even form a good team, it's obvious you won't be useful to the fight.

My biggest issue here isn’t the technical aspect of this GBR, Galactus is way worse for different phases to learn. My issue is that being able to complete Dormammu comes almost entirely down to your cards right now. Maybe when we get more tier 4s this will change, but even with Scarlet Witch with a rage lead, Loki with a rage, and Valkyrie also with a rage and 14% pierce, no amount of technical ability will let me do enough damage to clear it without two other comparably built accounts helping. And we need to clear this to get tier 4s. This really feels gatekeepy for the low-spending/free-to-play crowd.

Yup I agree, I have 10% pierce and deal no dmg in the second phase because Dormammu reduces pierce dmg by 50%. Essentially only Accounts that have progressed to 20+ % pierce will have a chance at clearing this content. Until we have ignore pierce dmg reduction or more pierce in character uniforms I won't be able to clear this game mode.

@@affiqothman That's the thing, you need at least one more player. I have 8% pierce and even I can manage to do 30% damage in a team of 3. I once had a clear where 2 were doing dps and the third guy died right at the beginning, 0.2% dps total. I have so many clear screenshots where all 3 did close to 33% contribution.

He also carried the entire team (he did 95.4% of the total damage). Most people will not be in a position where they can solo carry. So for the vast majority of us pubs will not result in a win. We just won't do enough collectively to win.

Nice piece of advice. Btw, i just finally managed to beat Mephisto thanks to your tips (although not with the same teams you used) but the little tricks for each phase helped me a lot. Today has been my fourth time beating him (yeah i can beat Knull or Mephisto one time a day) it's either of them, since i've already beaten Knull more than 10 times, i'm focusing on Mephisto now

The thing that you did not mentiom, yet it has been gamechanger for me was something BeastMode found. As the attack damage is reduced in second phase, all characters get buff with 200% increase in instinct damage. Even 2* Artifact upgraded to lvl 5 make a difference on this run. It is good to know, especially when 2* artifact is laughable easy to get

Alex this was an awesome video and helps a lot. Did not know about the character change when being sent to the mindless one. I do well in surviving the fight just don't do enough damage. Looking for my first clear still.

I figured out the fight mechanics real fast still thank you for this Alex I'm certain it was helpful to tons of players and please make a video on the best teams to clear Dormammu GBR, based on that I'll build a character like Mephisto or Ironman lvl 80

this fight is really hard without good % of pierce .... so basically peeps with low pierce needs a carry and although its fun , it lags too much even on very low settings , so need a really high end device :')

A good tip for DMM gbr is to bring one character with insight CTP among all the 9 characters, one player of the 3 people. The buff proc applies to EVERYONE and that's huge.

I thought you were gonna say that as the reason for using Colossus, not the defense part, cuz IDK if that works. It appears to me as DMM does HP percent damage irrespective of defense buffs. If you get hit by that purple swipe the entire way, you are left with like 15-20% HP no matter which character (in my testing at least). I have not noticed any decrease in damage taken with defense buffs. Could be interesting to use Emma Frost with her 80% reduction for testing the theory.

Cynicalex it maybe easy for u but much hard to do lik us . I am not complaining, but it's hard Mann. And without it I can't get T4, making easy for us. It is like a death spiral. And last complin is about teammates. They always do flee in middle of fight in fear and don't try hard until the end. it is truly a oeice of content where u need good teammates.

1:46 u get huge attack buff after killing mindless one, then the buff is tag-able to wong once. But then vanish after 2nd tag (to drs) approx 2:02

Seeing that time freeze mechanics in endgame iron man legendary battle appear again in a Dormammu fight is so nice

I can clear solo like once or twice a day. It takes 9 minutes, but it’s better than potentially wasting time with a team.

I love it because remembers Dormammu fight in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, and it's awesome!

Alex, everytime you get sent to the time zone the enemy's health resets. Happened to me when I just had supports left. Not great still fun tho

with my 10% pierce i can't solo this and with people i can barely do 15-20% damage in total...idk i guess pierce is very important for dormammu -.-

The only thing i don't like about all of the GBR Changes is, that they removed the crafting cubes :( Now its almost useless to play Master Mold & Galactus (in my case only to get the tokens) I WOULD play Dormammu..but yeah 8% Pierce but not enough All Attack I quess... But that Dormammu takes away the passive buffs? Very good to know! :)

I am in the exact same position in terms of stats and I spend almost no time on gbr now. I focus on dimension rifts just for the cubes, but it's not nearly as fun. it's a shame that the devs genuinely tried to enhance gbr but instead they seemed to have excluded all except 🐳 from enjoying it.

I don't even bother with Dormammu, if I'm lucky, 2 master mold runs for the day gets me 10 tokens. I try and leave dimension rift on auto but even the mighty Loki is useless on auto so I end up having to spend 30 minutes of my day on the most annoying shit ever, the mobs aren't even difficult to kill but they just keep on coming

It's seriously hard content as a low spender. But... it's nice to see a GBR stage which takes longer to clear than the time you spend queueing up. It's almost a shame that Galactus wasn't scaled up more to sit midway difficulty wise.

I used to beat galactus in under a minute doing 90%+ of the damage. Now, it takes me over 5 min and with the help of some one else. I think they scaled him right. Although i have not played master mold since the change. And i have yet to beat dormammu but ima try a solo clear today

please let the dev know there is a bug when we send to other dimension, after killing the monster sometimes we not send back to dmu. I have to wait until next player to send to other dimension then I cam go back, sometimes I stay there 3 round

Just beat him in a lobby yest for the 1st time. I had sweaty palms for the 1st time since I got Knull to the final 7 bars! Felt great! I was so worried I'd get kicked before I finished! 🤣🤣

As someone that plays endgame content in Final Fantasy XIV, love seeing these mechanics in this game. Means people will need brain cells to actually earn the rewards. (Or be carried...)

Exactly lol. I see people complaining they can’t beat it with their tier 3 black panther and cry about it being too tough instead of building up their roster and not doing the endgame content until they can. These guys just want to blame mff staff for everything smh, they want to unlock everything on day 1 with their shitty accounts.

Broo i can not believe it i just got him to level 80 and boy oh boy is he the best character in the game ,yes he is 🙌🙌❤️hands down man miles better than makari for me and makari has a energy and my iron man has a naked 200 proc (Makari-stage 9 ulton- around more than 3 mins with energy) (Iron man -stage 9 ultron -around 1:30 min with a 200 proc obililisk

P.s Luna Snow can heal all team members while doing damage Dont be a douch and dont ask only for metas, a good avarage team can clear the run, not easy, but with work and cordenation. The spit damage dormammu does can be "countered" with some timing skills for exemple, u see that you gonna take 3+hits, before u get the damage, in case of SW, you can time perfectly her 3 and heal a portion back, that way no need to run for side to side and continue to do damage. The spit 75% times take order like right left right left and before any spit he will do that not penetrating attack in line twice in a row, so if you see that, just take precautions Hela, wolverine, knull, serci etc hability and artefact proc on that insta kill mechanic from 2°phase 20 bars, so in that oh s**t situation if you have any revive/1hp proc, just awesome Last p.s: just have fun and dont expect players to freely carry u, do your best, press those buttons, and enjoy a finally not 1hit ko boss, even 10% dps helps people that can do it, be polite, have fun and cheera MFF awesome update, awesome content and cynicalex if you like my Comment i will be happy, big fan here from Portugal 😁💪

for the bug that keeps a player in the mindless zone, u can help them by letting them to kill the creature when you are twleported to the zone with them. I have tried this several times and they work for me. hope it can help you guys when u see someone being trapped

kinda wish this wasnt a gbr because about 20 seconds after i start the fight i get disconnected even playing solo so i dont think i can clear it for a long long time

Who all are you guys using to clear Dormammu? So far I've only cleared with Doctor Strange. I think with some work I might be able to pull off Iron Man, and I haven't tried Thena yet but I have high hopes for her as well.

It seems like Dr.strange is the best damage dealer for this. My next best attackers seem to be scarlet witch and then Sharon, past that thena and makkari work decent also.

I'm doing 2 clears for now, Thena+Makkari+White Fox and Strange+Supergiant+Valkyrie. Both teams work amazingly.

When ever I get transferred to mindless zone I am gonna stuck for the rest of the game unless another player also get transferred.

F2P players let's face it the whales are ignorant some thinking they are free to play. But this game is getting turned into a whale only game and most people who ask for harder content and T4s are whales. But as a f2p who hasn't gotten pierce well I can beat most of the content by learning how to play and use characters strengths and weaknesses to my advantage sure pierce is great at doing more damage but I'm not wasting important resources like gold just to get nothing important in return. But I still enjoy the game because it can be fun even when you have to grind for everything

This fight is amazing, definitely the best one the devs have ever done. That being said, the second phase he takes no damage at all except from T3 skills. I see he has 50% pierce damage reduction, but that's it. Do you know why he takes so much less damage in second phase? What are the best teams who don't rely on pierce? Would be great if you did a follow up vid about that. Great tip on the buff removal as well, very clutch. Hopefully people will learn it fast, it seems like most people cant do this at all, def have to have OP friends or just do it solo.

Pretty sure you can't clear this if you have the 'average F2P cards' with no pierce you had before lol.... You should try it, cause I haven't heard anyone able to clear it with no pierce and average non-crafted cards.

I have no problem dodging the waves. I do have problems doing damage and getting teammates to finish the mission. Absolutely terrible mode to create an event around.

There’s one more bug or mistake When you get transported back from the mindless one it sends you smack in the middle of the arena with no defence at all and I’ve been sent right into the Center of his super dangerous attacks and just been killed

Not to mention i just tried to get into a match & got kicked from match 30 times in a row. this is the kind of thing that will make me stop playing this game again. i have Moon knight, Thor, iron man, alll @ level 80 with new uniforms but don't have the optimal DPS supports to go with them so i get insta kicked. im just about ready to say FMFF....

And I did solo Dormamu, I think when you play solo you do more demage or Boss is weaker?

The two sword symbols in the top of the screen will disappear. Red and blue sword symbols. Once I are teleported to the island and. Brought back u lose your buffs

My lvl 80 Iron man with a Rage CTP, mythic uni, type 5 enhancement and with type advantage can't do shit to Dormammu.

Mff/Nm should either lower the difficulty or they should increase the drop rate for eveyrthing

If this mean we need 2 dps then we r gonna suffer more lake of support bcz of switch there

If you’re on a strong team and all your characters die. Stay and watch your teammates finish you will still get rewards.

The t4 materials drop rate from the GBR dormammu is insanely low, plus there's type advantage, so it's not guarantee to be able to clear every single day. Also the boost point used to get the premier card token seemed less than before. Before even if i don't use boost point, there's chance to get 5 in one try.
