Back in the days most of our Tibetan Kalon and Kungoe took every opportunity of Tibetan refugees n send their children’s abroad or got all scholarships meant for Tibetan refugees but now it’s transparent in this Internet era

In particular, his father was one of the group leaders who helped His Holiness the Dalai Lama escape to India in 1959. They didn't have anything when his family reached India-just sky and land. All of his success by the grace of his holiness, the Dalai Lama, and his hard work, Dorjee La never received any scholarships from our CTA. Everything was paid for by his parents.
