Doris Day is a real treasure. A singer with a beautiful voice, an incredible dancer with great legs, a strong dramatic actress who was versatile enough to have a great comic timing. As a woman she was intelligent, kind, good hearted, grateful and beautiful.

I adore this woman. Always had. Doris Day had that 'magic' and personality that came off of the screen. It was a gift she was given. No acting school can teach it to you. You either have it or you don't. It's as simple as that. Doris left the movies & TV early, but strangly her popularity never waned. I love her laugh in this . God bless the soul of this Dear Woman and may she rest in Peace. Amen.

I wish we could see her during this interview. It's hard to believe that this is the voice from a 90-year-old woman! Her speaking voice changed very little. Just like everyone who ages it only goes a little bit lower. Anyone could still recognize the voice of Doris Day!!!🤔😱🤗♥️💞❤️

I remember writing a letter to Doris Day back in the early 80's when I was just about ready to graduate from High School telling her how much I loved her and her movies and she was so very kind and gracious to send me a beautiful autographed photo and a personalized note just for me. I have those in an album and will pull them out from time to time when I want to take a trip down memory lane and they will always have a special place in my heart. Truly a lovely lady!

What a wonderful souvenir !!! That shows how kind and gracious she truly was!!! I loved her and her movies too! I have wished so many times that I would have bought something from her estate sale to have and keep and pull out when I’m needing a pick me up! There were 2 charm brackets up for sale , one was her mother’s and the other one was hers , that’s what I really would love to have gotten, can you imagine!! I would wear it everyday even if it was just around the house!!! 😊 But, to have an autographed picture of her and a personal note would be mighty spectacular !!! Thanks for sharing that information!

Even then, she made an exception to a dementia sufferer in an English care home, who received a signed photo of her a few days before she died. Doris Day - My favorite female movie star and singer. I wish I could have met her. Truly a inspiration. She reminded me of a female Jimmy Stewart. They both seemed as genuine and caring and wonderful onscreen as off. I have every movie of hers. Whenever I need a pick me up and need a dose of sunshine, I put one of her movies on. She was amazing. I only wish she had a gravesite to be able to go and pay your respects at. A wonderful lady, through and through. Judith Mitchell

Well, I have dark hair and dark eyes. But I did not care I wanted to be beautiful like Miss Day with her lovely smile and infectious laugh. I loved that she was always a moral and positive example. And I saw most of the rest of her 60s comedies in a theater. She was pure sunshine. Love her. Never tire of watching "Calamity Jane" or "Please Don't Eat the Daisies." And the films with Gordon MacRae are charming. Hitchcock's "The Man Who Knew Too Much" is my favorite dramatic performance.

True the System allowed genius to flower and for that we should all be grateful. All of us! Cause we know now what it means to live in a culturally arid wasteland where bimbos (m and f) dominate as presenters, actors, dancers, singers. Doris Day HERSELF was blessed with an enormity of talent. She could sing, she could dance and as Hitchcock discovered in `Storm Warning` she could act. He cast her in `The Man Who Knew too Much` (the re-make) and she was sensational. Doris enjoys the kind remarks made about her by Jack Lemmon. I interviewed Jack. Don`t like him. DId not interview Doris but she`s nonetheless the centerrpiece of the Alfred Hitchcock Walk that I run in London. www.alfredhitchcockwalk.wordpress.com Doris before she passed mentioned the tour in a couple of Re-Tweets of my own Tweets. PS Jack Carson is one of my fav actors and `Romance on the High Seas` one of my fav films. G-d Bless Dodo. RIP!
