Another wonderful composer discovered. It never ends here on KZread.

I hadn't heard of this composer until I found this video quite by chance. A lovely piece of chamber music. I hope more musicians will take up performing this and other works by Dora Pejačević.

Dora is a real amazing Composer! Have also listened to her glorious Symphony in F Sharp major. This piano trio is no exception!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful music. I am hearing the music for the first time as well as knowing of this fine composer.

Had to listen to it twice - once just didn't feel like enough!

I had forgotten to mention that my favourite instrument is the Cello! For me Cello is Angelic! The Cellist Christian Poltera does a damn good job! It makes me weep! Such is the glory of the Cello! Dora you have a very special place in my heart for your remarkable talent! Wish some of mainstream orchestra's perform your incredible music!

Memorable melodies. I think Pejacevic's works for me usually have a strong first impression impact.

Did Thibaud,Corot and Casals record this? If they didn't :they should have.

I really like this performance. If you were to tell me "you're going to listen to *another* piano trio," I would normally be pretty unimpressed by the idea. But IMO the performers really sell this and make me see the drama in it.

ArcticFlower - It's three stringed instruments. That's why it's called a Trio.

Edition Silvertrust publishes it. Great place to find Overlooked and forgotten composers.
