for door 100, do not go into the closet or bed. It provides only more risk of dying. Instead, right after the cutscene, sprint to the left staircase. figure won't catch you if you do that. it works for a lot of people but do it at your own risk

Tip for door 100: After the cutscene, dont try to hide, go up and instantly go to the elevator and grab the key and do the curcuit breaker. Also a tip for eyes in the room with glass panes: You can see through the glass panes with out taking damage by eyes.

Pro tip: the room halt is in has epic loot so when you escape halt you can search things there for a lighter or something.

@@djaccountisbfisbx3880 basically, you need to collect a paper with code first, they will be 6 different shapes with numbers. Your objective is to FIND books with these exact shapes, if you find something else, it's useless. Once you get all right, there will be written some other numbers next to those shapes in the left side of the screen = those are those numbers you actually put in the code. The order is simple, there are Roman numerals next to the correct shapes, those are telling you the order

Something I haven't seen a lot of ppl do is just look down and walk where you need to go when you encounter the eyes. It's very useful for when eyes appear in front of a lock door

I have noticed something with Halt's mechanics, he seems to only go as far as the player's starting location (When the "Turn around" message shows). So you should walk forwards until he appears in front of you, then take a few steps back for him to disappear. Another strategy I have done was for the breaker box, I turn all of the fuses ON before the numbers start showing up, then turn them off because I swear there are more on fuses than off ones.

Yes I used this strategy berore and it was very useful indeed

Some information are missing: You can also hide under beds or outside of Rush and Ambush’s path. You can also wait until Hide kicks you out while under a bed. You can also hide in a bed while having a player try to steal it. Jack also appears in blood rooms, which have a 1/2000 chance of spawning.

i just want you to know, you can also survive rush by just getting out of its way, aka, if ur somewhere like the room with the vents, if you are inside the vents rush cant get you, this also works for rooms with more rooms inside it, basically just dont go somewhere inbetween the next and previous rooms doors, btw sometimes you might die anyways so dont blame me if u die even if u did what i said

Side note: rush and ambush have extremely large hit boxes so going in the corner of some rooms doesn't make you safe, good luck escaping.

So, how this works is rush needs to see you to get you. If your teammate steals your spot as a last resort you can get behind a bookshelf and hope. I have done this so many times with randoms. IMPORTANT: rush goes from door to door, if you have one of those cross rooms rush will only have one path. To avoid this go to a spot with a blocked or broken door then go behind a bookshelf. I hope this helps!!!!

Another way to beat figure at door 100. Instead of going back when he swings from the roof, you can just run right past him and go straight to the elevator power, do that then escape. U don’t need to run back and hide! just a little tip!

Ok, so I have something to say. The room shown while you explain the "Look at me" badge is a little weird when it comes to Eyes. I looked straight at Eyes through the glass, and they didn't attack me. I took no damage. So I believe that Eyes doesn't mind being stared at through glass. Edit, because I forgot to be more clear. By "doesn't mind being stared at through glass," I mean it counts as a wall.

@@user-ey4uw1cc5k yeah The eyes' code is probably done with raycasting, which is basically a thing which, given 2(or sometimes more) points, detects if there is anything between said points. My guess is that there's raycasting going on between the player and the eyes, and if nothing is in between them and the player is looking towards the eyes, then the player will get damaged. That's just a guess tho, I'm not exactly a scripting expert

@@icespeed3742 i dont believe the eye's code is done with raycasting, as you can be between the points as long as at least one value is true: value 1: whether or not the eyes are even an entity in the game at that point, and 2: whether or not the players set fov detects the eyes or not. i think the eyes have a hitbox (or lookbox, in this case) that the player cannot see, and if that hitbox is visible at all to the player then the player gets damaged. The eyes still can damage you through doors, as long as it is loaded in, which is value 1. So, if you look at the hitbox while they are loaded in, (even if through doors) it will still damage you.

I never thought of just walking backwards instead of turning around so that you can get there quicker, but just turning around every time does work

This Was Helpful For Me For All The Other Badges After Finishing Doors For My First Ever Time! Edit: On Figure The Elevator Power And The Paper Translation Was Tricky.

3:55 that does work, but it is actually faster to just walk backwards WITHOUT turning around like you said, and plus, there are some cases where halt DOES catch up to you, because when you turn around, you have to still hold W while turning around to entsure that you make it, but you also walk left or right while doing that, wich can cause halt to catch up. Once you enter the room, keep walking forward, and make sure to ignore the first halt turn around screen thingy, because the first one you see is fake, only acknknowladge the second one, when the second one happens, just walk backwards without turning around, cause halt actually spends more time behind you, then being infront of you, that is so that the player is 100% gonna reach the exit, and not end up at the start, so you being slower while walking backwards, actually gets buffed due to halt spending less time being infront of you, and it's actually faster to not turn around at all. I hope this comment helped for those who wanted to beat halt a little faster. If you watch speedrun videos of this game, the speedrunners actually don't turn around when halt appears, so there is the confirmation that this actually works.

Just a tip for Figure, if you have 4/5 numbers and there are no double numbers in the 4 numbers, then it must be a repeat of one of the 4 numbers already found. This takes the spectrum of guessable last digits from 1-10 to only five numbers if you decide to brute force it.

3:40 it's not misleading. you ARE supposed to turn the other way/walk backwards whenever the text popup in order to avoid Halt. they basically does the same thing, turning around and walking backwards, but turning around is quick and safer. the text literally tells you what to do.

Walking forwards and backwards is literally way quicker and more efficient though, once the “TURN AROUND” screen pops up you can just walk forwards/backwards immediately depending on where Halt is.

The glowing particles are actually the guiding light, also when you die the tips come from the guiding light

You heard about the new update! U can crucifix every monster but not seek and figure and now there's a door named 'A-1000 you will find it behind a closet. It's pretty hard to get the A-1000 badge it's even insane me and my friend tried to get it but we only survived at door A-52. Hope u have a great day! 💖

@@belkYT no it still works with rush,but bc ambush comes back and fourth and his hitbox is bigger it is required to hide in a closet when ambush comes.

for figure, (on door 100) u don’t necessarily need to hide, u can easily walk past him, so u won’t have to do that heart mini game. u will also escape much faster

i hope the devs add something for the elevator minigame to be even quicker: you can press the number keys on your keyboard to represent the elevator number thingies, with 0 being 10, 2 being 2, etc so yeah that will make it easier, i wonder if its possible

Btw if figure senses you in a closet you will have to do the heartbeat minigame, beware that if you fail once you might die depending on your luck. Press Q and E at the correct time if you are on Pc or right and left click. Whilst mobile players have to click in the correct time. In door 100 run straight up to skip the minigame. And with halt don't walk straight backwards just press s and don't look back. Looking back will waste more time.

Tip for halt you don't have to move your mouse you can just walk backwards or forward and he usually doesn't go past where your standing so if you want you could just walk back a little bit instead but this is kinda risky at times Also for eyes you can look at it through glass or walls only and I recommend looking down and walking

Fun fact: for door 100, if you’re with a friend and figure checks where they are first, you can go ahead while they’re doing the mini game. I’ve yet to test if you can go while he’s checking other closets without people in them

Really cool thing that happend in halt badge when he entered the next room one of the rarest entities to encounter was in that hallway idk if it’s hallway jack or blacks hados who knows

You can even get the "Meet Jack" badge by entering a room and the room will turn red. If you stay in the room for too long it will turn back to its normal self and the rain out the window will turn into red coloured blood so Jack in a room is rarer. You can even get the Error badge by trying to open the door but the room doesn’t load and Glitch will teleport you inside the room without you opening the door.

you don't need to run away from figure and hide, you can just walk straight up the stairs and grab the key for the door. (referring to door 100)

Tips for Figure:more books you get, more figure get faster Tips for Ambush:Ambush is rare at the start of a run because more you get close to the end, more his chance to appear up(at the door 93 ambush have a big chance of spawning)

6:32 you can also get it by an error happening in the game, like a door not opening, that is what glitch is for, an anti glitch mechanic to not make your 20+ mins (on a high door number) worth nothing

Jack can also spawn in a special room. He jumpscares you like normal but the hotel room he spawns in is more abandoned. It still gives the achievement.

Theres actually a 23rd badge, its called: "out of many rebounds" In order to get this is very difficult. you have to encounter and survive the rare entity a-60. if your wondering who a-60 is, he is an entity from rooms.

They should make it where if you close the drawer before Timothy jumps on you you get a badge called something like "unstoppable" or "can't stop the spider." I think it's possible without the game lagging, but I'm not sure

I got Meet Jack while having to deal with the rush, I somehow survived from that, it did give me a big suprised from that

I actually got meet jack achivement by just entering the next room (he appeard in the door and the whole walls of the room looked the same as the seek part of going into the right door)

By the way at 2nd figure encounter (last door) when you hide in the closet you hide and figure comes to check the 1st closet infront of your closet you can run to get the key when it makes the high pitch sound infront the 1st closet that figure checks he wont attack cause it runs a code that checks if a player is inside to play the heart minigame for like 5 seconds so you have time to move to the other room while it checks. Im not jokin I've finished the game 4 times and it works perfectly fine in solo or multi runs you do. I hope I helped.(sorry if Its hard to understand Im not native.)

You can also get the Error achievement in one player but it is an high chance to get Glitch in it than being far away from your team.

Tip for seek, try to actually crouch when you’re going under a bookshelf it’s a lot faster then letting the animation play

There is also a high chance that Jack in the closet can spawn when Rush or Ambush spawns and you go to the next room to hide in the closet

You can actually see Jack inside closets! On the small gap you can see clsoely through it o nwhat's isnide and you can see Jack if he's inside this can be very useful if you need a closet quick to hide from Rush, Ambush or Figure

Ambush has a 1% chance to appear instead of rush, so yea a little unlucky.

Dud at 4:15 in the video I rear character spawned for a second theres a white box on the screen that white box is shadow he has a 1/1000 present chance to spawn he doesn't hurt you he just there to scare people but still cool you saw him for a few seconds kinda jealous.

4:03: getting shadow is already super rare, but the photo id not loading is a 1/20,000 chance

I got the Jack badge just by going into a room. The floor had a blood water effect that vanished slowly, and Jack was right in the doorway as it jumpscared me. Idk if it's rare or not but please tell me. Edit: Just another thing, over a couple a days, I've also encountered this secret garden room around doors 70-100. I feel as if it's just another rare thing but idk.

3:40 Actually, it's not misleading, you just didn't do it fast enough, the MOMENT you see the turn around writing you have to turn around, I mean, if your way works consistently then cool, but when I turn instantly it's fine, if you aren't fast enough 1 time then it's okay, but if you are consistently not quite fast enough then he'll get you, but you get 2 chances if you're at max hp

Tip: at door 100 you can walk past figure before he checks the closet To do this after the cutscene walk to upstairs

Rather than hiding in the closet, you can just rush at the stairs right after the cutscene in the second encounter with figure

5:58 jack can appear from normal doors too( this is how i got it)

3rd tip: It's ideal to have 2-3 vitamins at door 100 as you can use the first for getting past figure after his entry, and then after you have done the panel. Thank me later (you can also run back and use a bed / closet (i know he already said that but just incase) )

You don't need any vitamins for 100. If you run past as soon as the cut scene ends, grab the key then crouch, hell go back downstairs and stay there until you come back upstairs for the second time.

For rock bottom i use the other method wich is to run upstairs Immediately and since figure goes to the closet it helps me to finish without the minigame, UNFORTUNATELY i died beacuse i didin't know when i have the elevator power all on i have to run upstairs to the elevator.

4:15 you actually encountered who you call Shadow, a rare monster that jumpscares you randomly, you have 1/80,000 chances to get him at Halt's hallway... Epic!

First time I played this game, I got the badge on escaping halt (didnt know its name before) twas dark and glitchy but i didnt even encounter him and just run forward. When i look back, 3 of my random teammates are dead lol i was confused af

with halt, the message DOES tell you when to turn, but only when you hear the sound effect with it

Insane respect for him trying to beat the game to show us How to get the badges

Screech pro tip: it's simple. Once you hear "psst" look behind you since he usually spawns there

Tip to make Halt's game easier: don't actually turn around, just use ,,w" and ,,s" on your keyboard to go forward and backwards.

There should be a badge for dying to timothy because he slightly takes some of your health

You can't die to Timothy. He deals 5 damage and when you have 5 hp left and he attacks you you are left with 1 hp. If he attacks you with 1 hp he does no damage.

Tip:in the figure cutseen at door 100 you can walk straight past him but don't stay there crouching you walk to the door then crouch if you crouch behind the figure he will kill you because he will sense your heartbeat that's all

Right after halt, the white rectangle that appeared was actually Shadow it appeared like that because it glitched and didn’t load in thats pretty rare!

@@asuu5379 i’ve beaten the game 6 times and when it does the cutscene of figure jumping down you can quite literally at the end of the cutscene juke him first thing and go up the stairs and get the key instantly.

a tip when surviving halt is to not turn around but just look forward and go forward and back instead if that makes sense

Ok so I don’t know if anyone said it but I’ll say it anyway. So in the halt moment after he survived him, did he really encounter shadow right after? That was a really rare chance to happen and it was good he recorded it.

i didthe last ones but do u have to hide or can u run past him and get both badges cuz i have rock bottom, but not expert
