All of you is clearly saying the same thing “It’s not a bad game because 2 devs is working on the game” I’m just saying that there is a long time period between each update and yes that’s because they are only 2 main developers. There have only been around 4 updates in nearly 2 years and I just think the game got bored because of that. That’s why I call it bad…

the reason theres such a huge gap between updates is because he's working on multiple updates at once, not just floor 2 therefore he can achieve consistent and regular updates in the future. if you actually did your research you would know but instead you choose to criticise a game with little to no knowledge of it. Ik not everyone reads comments, but if anything, it’s actually insanely impressive how just two developers can make such a good game quickly with their own patience in time, even holding us over with hotel+ update to make it less boring. Obviously doors floor two is what’s making everyone else happy. Because that’s what they’ve been waiting for, for so long.

Nah, surely floor 2 will explode its popularity back, since we have been waiting for it 2 YEARS now

there's not 2 devs working on the game, it's just that not a lot of people know about them. for instance, wowzers and jasper. wowzers designs the entities, jasper animates them. there's more people too, and you never know - there could a be a mines + update, more modifiers added to the mines, another secret sub-floor, and there's a lot of possibility with the new update. not to mention that they're also going to add the old hotel before hotel + as a playable option. this means people get to relive doors from back then, and think about the new uses for knobs we'll get, too. there will probably be a badge for unlocking all the candle skins. in fact, jeff's tip jar is an item you can pick up with hacks and has a high chance of being used. it has a rendered icon meaning you're supposed to pick it up at one point. people have also found tentacles with fully completed animations, too. theres a chance a jeff boss fight could be a thing. even crazier: you can go from the hotel to the mines with a smooth transition, meaning people will go from the hotel to the mines to see it, more people will try to beat the game to get to the new update, and overall massive game success. sorry for the long comment, but there's so much content that's been building up for 2 years since the game came out, it's honestly insane. also not to mention the teaser images we got showing off some interesting room designs, possibly for a different sub-floor (because it does NOT look like the mines.) and just so much content. yeah, i think the game is obviously going to have less players overtime, but this just happens with every game. but with how much content is here, even the modifiers update led people back. i hope you're not right with this video..

While I can see your point, I don’t necessarily agree. 1. Doors still has more than 13K players. 30K doesn’t always have to be a goal so you can’t really say it lost popularity after one major update. 2. 2 devs doesn’t mean the game will have a downfall. There are other creators like Pet Sim that had one creator and it exploded in popularity. You can’t say the game will necessarily fail because of the lack of updates and a small dev team. 3. I see your comment you pinned and while I can agree, it’s still fun to find secrets and the game isn’t bad. Games and chapters and other things take awhile. Have you seen Poppy Playtime Chapter 3? Took Mob 2 years and it was awesome and people still play. 4. They just want to put effort into the game so taking a long period of time doesn’t matter. The game will always be good and you can’t say that the game will shut down or something because of issues that aren’t issues. 5. Have you seen The Hunt and April Fools Update??? heres my honest 3 opinions: 1. honestly i think doors floor 2 would be a hit, and the reason why the last major update (hotel+) rised in popularity and then dropped in 2 days is because its basically like beating the PRE HOTEL+ update but just a bit harder with new rooms, new door 100 and the greenhouse, i literally beat the game after 2 attempts. with FLOOR 2 its going to be a whole new floor with new mechanics, new rooms, new entities that we don't know how to beat and a new door 200 (as floor 2 is going to be from 101-200) 2. the longer the update takes, the better it will be, those 2 devs by themselves has made such an awesome game, that to me, is actually better than most games. like MM2 (no offense its fun but im talking about the update parts) nikilis was LATE to the easter update and still released it with new guns and knives and its still fun. doors isnt 'terrible' because they only have 2 devs? those devs have lives too, they cant spend like their whole week just sitting on their chair working on the game. 3. this wont be a long one but, once floor 2 is out, content creators will literally like sprint back to doors and post like 20 videos on trying to beat the game. and still, maybe they don't talk about it as much as they used to but they still post some videos related to doors. thats honestly my opinion, btw i know you aren't hating on doors and just expressing your opinion. i'm honestly getting quite bored of the game but i'm still trying to use modifiers and other game modes and challenges to beat the game just to make it fun again! anyways thanks for reading

They put time and effort to make this game good while other devs like the ones on pet sim only do it for the money.
