Hell no...not in my area. The parking is ridiculous in downtown Omaha and it isn't worth it in my opinion. I have never dashed in downtown so I can't say for sure, but I don't plan on finding out. Hope you have a great time in Denver!!

@@greysfreak25 I do some runs downtown where I live sometimes but I always make the people come out and get it and I don't take it up to them high-rise buildings for them and they always come out anyways. No matter where you go the parking always sucks downtown regardless and we got a bunch of one-way streets downtown which is stupid and I want you to pay for parking which is also stupid.

I refuse. Parking is a nightmare, traffic is horrible, pedestrians are usually jaywalking, and it takes over 20 min to go less than half a mile. Way too many one way streets and too many traffic lights and my experience has been very poor tips. By the time you end your shift you are mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted with very little to show for your efforts. I'm guessing door Dash has issues getting drivers to work it because it's always lit red with a + $3 (sometimes more). To me that screams desperate when DD is bribing drivers to work it. 😅😅

absolutely not. parking is a mess, and in my downtowns (either SF or SAC) crime is increased a lot so I avoid. also won't dahs anywhere there are meters

I live in a suburb of Denver and I haven't been downtown in 15 years. Nor do I wish to. My mail route is in the extreme southwest corner of Denver and the homeless aren't camping there --- yet.

Downtown is tough, I found Arvada CO to be my favorite, 1 zone northwest of Denver, made $30+/hr on the weekends

My fave is the customer not telling their security that they should let us in the elevator because they ordered 😂 they’re the best

I quit DoorDashing today! Trash orders constantly. Tips are ridiculous. Highway construction keeps me from getting safely to restaurants. Wait times too long. Putting too many miles on my 2018 car. Today, I scratched up my tire rim on the curb trying to park in a very unsafe place. Instructions of customers are like reading essays. Lol I feel such much peace now.

gotta get a high powered scooter, it's the way to make driving and parking real easy and make more profit too! That's what I do. Doing food delivery in a car is NOT it! Too much wear and tear expenses and high gas prices. I spend $3 for a full day of gas and I do my own maintenance because it's a scooter, it's easy.

@@Dariusdoesplay they aren't toys.. they are designed for it. You can get scooters that do well over 100mph. Reliable name brand scooters from Honda, Yamaha and not some junk. They are amazing. They are technically motorcycles. You want a scooter for delivery because you need your second hand to work the apps while riding

Dashing outside of your home state is super awesome! Great way to explore a new place and make some money in the process. Plus you might find a place you wanna check out to eat after your dash

usually am more satisfied with the higher pay high miles vs low because I know they tipped well, something about a $1-2 tip to a person just ercks me

This is exactly why I never do dollar per mile orders. Even if the pay is high. The only time I’m comfortable taking one is if I find myself further out from my area that I normally like to stay in and the order is taking me back.

I know dashing in the city is busy, but dashing in the suburbs with a huge parking lots in front of the stores is amazing. Lol

I used to deliver downtown Phoenix, but I will never work any downtown area again, only suburbs for me

I think it might be better to deliver in highlly populated cities on an Ebike....most big cities have lots of bike racks near skyscrapers etc

Nope! I drove the downtown Denver zone once, never again 😂 no parking and it took forever to get anywhere. I hang out in the burbs now. The Broomfield zone (looks like Texas) north of ya is where I stay. But very north in the zone cause there are a lot of low tips the lower you go towards Denver. Hope you have a fun stay here! 😄

I dashed Denver in 2020. Seemed cool in the southern sections but that was during the pandemic although there were plenty of people out and about. I recommend looking for the fast casual chain restaurants such as CFA, Mellow, and 5GYS to get a lay of the land. Then look for the ones that are near malls/shopping centers. Compare the malls/shopping centers to see which is in the part of town with single family households especially newer construction areas. These are the places where you’ll find your key demo. Downtowns are typically young single people in overpriced apartments or travelers in hotels with less disposable income and are ordering for 1-2 mouths. Single family households typical have more disposable income and are ordering for 3-4+ mouths. Aurora, Littleton and Centennial come to mind. I feel like that food hall was in that hipster-ish part of town just west of downtown. But yeah something about seeing the Rocky Mountain range anytime you’re headless westbound is a great feeling.

Agree 100% I delivered in downtown Seattle on Saturday for the first time and thank God my wife was with me to sit in the car so I could double park.

Wife and I drive from west Yellowstone to Bozeman Montana to dash. 90 miles one way. $200 days. Always busy for us there. Start time is usually 3pm we stop around 10 or 11 pm. We are lucky to get back to our car before getting another offer. AR runs around 93%. Wendy’s closes their lobby at 10 so their drive thru gets ridiculous and make up the only reason we will decline an offer most of the time. McDonald’s and Taco Bell leave lobby open for dashers. Also many restaurants have parking up front or curbside for dashers. We do 16-18 deliveries on average when we work. Butte MT is a hit and miss but it’s also 2:30hrs one way. The drive to and from work takes us thru part of Yellowstone. Beautiful drive, less traffic at 1 am, but more wild life to be aware of.

Yep, people here ask me about dashing in Bellevue and this is the reason I never have... crazy deliveries at businesses where there is no parking!

I just got a very similar order. I was trying to parallel park and when I couldn't I tried parking in a paid parking area without knowing how to even pay since I didn't have a card for the machine. Luckily the customer saw me walking around dazed and confused. It's weird how ominous the bigger buildings look when you're downtown because it's the most hostile environment to anyone who wants to go there. I'm in a completely different smaller city but had the same bewildering situation as shown in this video. 😅

i heard denver is one of the best cities to dash. you probably would have done better if you didn't go downtown. downtowns are always the worst. i don't even like dashing in my downtown and i live in a much smaller city.

Sadly, you got roasted driving north on I-25 in rush hour and dropping off in downtown. 🤭

Yeah you have to know where to park!! In austin delivering to the 999th floor is pretty common. They have freaking 30 story towers for the college students by UT 😅 thank God most buildings here have massive parking podiums lol

I only go down there if I have a catering drop off. I hate parking down there. And you was in the heart of downtown.

I live in Denver and dash. It can be a hassle with traffic sometimes but you have to grind it out. I usually stick with downtown. I double park a lot. It’s acceptable.

You should travel up to Estes park and check it out and maybe dash there

When you deliver in a big city like that you basically have to use an electric bike with the backpack cooler. I stay away from Cherry Creek and I stay away from downtown Denver.

Buffalo, NY just added earn by time yesterday. $16 an hour.

I love my city, lol. Not a big city but busy and no huge buildings and places to park.

That Ihop is actually fast. For that walgrwena there ia free parking at Target but you have to walk. Do not go to that reef kitchen they are actually very slow. You were already in the best place when you logged in.

Pedro I said the same thing last year Christmas. I was really down bad and I had to work vacationing in my hometown of Orlando Florida. I currently live in Atlanta Georgia doing DoorDash Uber etc is horrible when you don’t know the market even tho I’m from Orlando I haven’t lived in the city in about five years so I was getting crazy orders that had me drive all the way to Disney and other places that I recognize being at home but pretty much work wise didn’t pay the miles that I was getting it was just horrible same thing like you’ve been saying all that shit show Guys don’t ever do it don’t go to another city and Doordash just dash in your city part time work a W-2 or have a business. It’s just not worth it.

There are only a couple of markets in Colorado that have earn by time and they are south of Denver that I have heard

My market I have the “priority” bc my AR is 74% but I have some mixed opinions Monday I had 5 good offers in a row made $40 in hr and half plus I got lucky one of my customers canceled after I got their food on DD so free lunch, Tuesday I had 2 bad offers in a row so IDK if priority is good

Tried to dash in Boston rather than my usual suburban zones in NH. The money is exceptional but it is very tough. Almost need another person to do all the pickup and drop offs efficiently, or work on a bike otherwise.

I delivered 37 packages with flex in Philly center city yesterday at 530 during peak rush hr. Took me 3 1/2 hrs. I was snapping in my car the whole time

Man people DELIVER PACKAGES for amazon in downtown nashville. They pay 18.50 per hour. The blocks are always taken. Traffic is grid locked and no parking. Bad enough delivering food. I didnt lose anything in downtown, i got no reason to be there.

I got anxiety for you on this one, lol. I tried to do earn by time on drive to work this AM. I typically do this and try to accept something towards work in a zone of restaurants 8 miles away that covers most miles to work, and orders will pay $10+ after delivery. Today received message that there were no slots for earn by time, they were at capacity??

Yep I say out of downtown in major cities. I occasionally drive out to Dallas and dash there but I don't do it downtown, I usually go north way out of downtown cause I know the parking situation is atrocious in large cities. I almost shot myself in the foot once and got an order and it was just barely out of downtown and luckily it was going outside the city but I had to pass through downtown.
