i do stacked orders all the time and i never get the orders mixed up i double check and makeing sure that i deliver the right one

yeah it's almost impossible to mix them up, the app reminds you like 3 times

Jumping from one task to another has helped me keep high ratings. Just communicate with the restaurant. Ask about how long the order with take and tell them why you're asking. The restaurant appreciates you telling them and if you leave they don't feel pressured while you stand there and stare and wait. LOL!

It took me a while to learn that some restaurants will not actually make the customer's order until they know a Dasher is on the way. That way they don't waste product and refund customers because the customer was too cheap to get a Dasher to accept their order. That's why I have to wait when I get there for some orders.

So far I haven't had many stacked orders, but have handled them ok. However, DD does have trouble. I have been halfway to deliver an order and the second offer pops up that is all the way back to where I picked up my first order. Like I'm going to turn around, let the current order get cold and the customer see me reverse direction. Also, we already know about "dirty" stacking when multiapping. But DD has offered me stacks where the customers are located in the opposite direction from each other. I would expect the algorithm to be at least intelligent enough to recognize that as a problem.

I like your positive yet realistic mindset. I subscribed, learnt more from watching 2 of your videos than 10 other channels talking about Doordash.

I did my very first order this past Sunday. It was a stacked order, and it was confusing. I thought it was ONE customer, one order, $22.50 for 8 miles. So I went to pick it up, confirmed pickup. Then a second pickup shows up on the app for a restaraunt in the same strip mall. Picked that up, and I'm thinking okay, this lady wants an order from 2 different places. I get to her house and handed her both orders, she said, um, I just had the one order, oops... then once I confirmed delivery, a second address showed up. I got to the 2nd house, and while at their door, an 'add on' pops up. I just assumed the add on was from one of these 2 customers I'm delivering to, and I have already left the restaraunts and at the 2nd house, so I just let the timer run out as I was just trying to focus on getting the second one delivered. I wish my first one would have been easy but it'll get better as I go :). Great video's by the way!

It's amazing that you're still going strong after all this time where I've got almost 4 years in over 10,000 deliveries my ratings are good and yet they will not let me have any orders unless it's 2 to 4 dollars that's it so what is your secret to stay in that long and making that kind of money

How can we leave the assigned restraint and drop off order while waiting for other one to be done does the app/door dash let you do this is there any penalty

I wanted to know as a door dash delivery driver when you receive a text saying order is ready for pick up for example from a pizza shop who is actually sending that out?

I am new but have been able to stack orders well and deliver on time. However tonight I made three runs each offered at 14.00 and change but when it came to my pay it didn't add up. I was only given 40.00 for whole night all deliveries were on time and observed as I had a former dasher with me to train me. I couldn't find individual sums in earnings only a total.Has any one else have this happen to them . What is going on? Is it worth it?

Is it me or does DD slip an offer into a stack w excessive mileage? For expediency I tend to look at the shape of an order cluster on the map. If one out of three orders seems to noticeably veer North (common here of those you may not want to take), I see that as the "stinger" in the stack, and typically decline the whole thing. But don't I have the opportunity to see the address before pickup, and take the other two? I think I get in too much of a hurry.

Have you ever been in a situation as a door dasher that was scary when you delivered and what did you do?

It's easier for me because I am in San Antonio TX so the zones are very clear and I stop Dashing at 10pm. The other thing I do is never Dash in a scary zone again. Fool me once. Lastly, when you are trying to complete an order in a scary situation, for me it helped that I clearly had my Dash bag and the Dash App on the phone and stayed calm looking for the address. They looked at me but didn't hassle me. AGAIN, I never Dashed there again.

Generally you are pretty safe.... Your delivering food, not cash. Call the customer... Tell them that you feel uncomfortable with the surroundings... Ask them to meet you on the porch or outside the complex. They want their food and they will come outside to greet you. If they aren't interested, leave it at there stairs and take the picture...

Are u allowed to ride with 2 or more people in your car while door dashing in my city I see groups of teens riding around doing door dash with multiple apps running on everyone phones 😅

Did doordash change its algorithm? I usually do decent on pay by time but for the last week it's been awful. A friend of mine won't do pay by time and he's been getting outstanding orders same market same AR and cr. Only difference is, he has over 10k and I have 7k.

Choose stacked orders with delivery locations no more than 5 minutes apart from each other. Use a hot bag for both orders, communicate with both customers.

Time of day and location. Not sure what time of day you are available but 1st go to locations that have a cluster of restaurants that use Door Dash like Chick Fil A, McDonald's, Starbucks, Taco Bell, 7/11 and THEN turn on your Dash App and click Dash Now when it appears. That way you will be locked into a zone with more potential Dash opportunities.

same here, I'm in Seattle, and last month it was easy to make $100 in a couple hours, now I can't even get an order for HOURS...

Stacked orders made me delete DoorDash 🤣
