The Doomsday figure is retooled from both the DC Multiverse Devistator single release and 2 pack version, Doomsday looks scary cool and Superman looks great but needed the yellow S on the back of the cape as well with maybe include a beaten up Superman head, Great review Kyle.

Immediately disappointed that the yellow S wasnt on the cape.

I love how they have a card with superman cape on the pole flying in the wind clearly with the yellow S on the cape only not to put it on the figure but that doomsday looks amazing

Oh wow, glad to hear I'm not the only one that will take the dented box, because I really don't care and I want my favorite lines to sell.

Bless you sir for taking one for the team and returning those mint on box figures and putting it back into circulation salutes

early 90s Superman is my Superman. love the Jurgens art on all those books. i like the Superman that came in that 2-pack with the Devastator figure the best

If I buy this two pack it's strictly for Doomsday. I don't need yet another Superman. I've been waiting for years for this Doomsday. Around 2006 or 2007 we got a Doomsday close to this Doomsday the figure wasn't big enough then so I passed.

Got this yesterday. Great set.

I didn't read the story in its time, but I've since got the Death of Superman Omnibus and really enjoyed it. Therefore I ordered this. I'm really happy with it. Doomsday is super beefy. I agree with others that it could have used an additional more battered Superman head, especially considering the price point.

I just got this one!! I’m hyped about it.. Superman all battered & bruised, but Doomsday is unscathed, lol, wish he’d do the same for Doomsday to look more on point together.

Great review! I understand for whatever reason McFarlane doesn't like the S on the cape of Superman and that's fine, to each their own. However, when you're making a Death of Superman action figure the defining image of the character is his tattered, torn cape with the yellow S, to not include it on the figure is just petty and stupid. Lots of the details on Doomsday are wrong as well, it feels like nobody involved in the making of this two pack did even cursory research on the comics. When McFarlane's team is passionate about something you can really tell in the figures, when they're inspired they hit home runs, this is about as uninspired and lazy as he gets.

I have a theory that the looseness on Doomsday is due to the oft reuse of this mold. Perhaps not reused as much as Bucky Cap but obviously there is some slip and slide now.

That top knot kills the figure for me.
