Him being American wouldn't have barred him from the role. There are many British actors playing American parts and vice versa. If Terry could mimic a Nigerian accent (which he actually has done before), then he could have easily played Doomfist. It was contractual obligations that stopped him.

Why on earth do people think that Actors can just magically be perfect in any role. Not every actor can pull off a perfect accent. Even some of the best actors have no range whatsoever. Terry Crews cant just change his voice to fit Doomfist in a matter of seconds.

IIRC When PTR is opened each player is given mirrored account from normal servers with all stuff and currency they unlocked, but any PTR purchases don't carry over live servers, so everyone who's got 3000 CP on live servers can freely get golden weapon for new hero without spending any currency from main account. Keep in mind that I've never touched PTR so I'm not sure if this info is 100% correct.

i dont see normal heavy being like doom fist however if you give him the boxing gloves he becomes THE doom fist minus mobility but from experience that dosent mater that much if you know what your doing however i cant see doom fist making me shiting myself cuz hes so fast it would be over heavy on the other hand cuz hes slow you can see hes hands glowing with crits as hes ruining for you .............................that was the last time i ever went down a hall way by myself in that game

I almost wish that Crews had gotten the job, just so Doom's ult line could be: *"THE POWERRR"*
