And we all know how bad the articulation on those are...but hey, atleast mcfarlane got the scale of their weapons right, here the crucible sword looks like a mf kitchen knife, how embarrassing😂

Could been better if the crucible and supershotgun were bigger They seem wrong being too small

They're completely the wrong scale, they fucked up the scale with most of the weapons which is a huge turn off for an absurdly overpriced figure.

What an awesome figure! I did not even know this was a thing. I got the McFarlane figure which I love but I missed out on this Mondo figure. Congrats and thanks for sharing. Loved the picture and video with the fire in the background. Subscribed!

Why cant we get more good doom figures man

I just got mine in on Wednesday. Opened it up over the weekend and I love it. It’s the first Mondo figure I own, and I’m not disappointed at all haha. The movement range is very limited as you pointed out, but man…the detailing on the weapons, the armor, and the Lost Soul are all stellar! This is so nice that it’s making me consider double-dipping for the red armor version…gotta have self-control! I did order a 1/6 figure stand just to prop him up…a figure that heavy will take everything else down with him if he falls over. Great video, glad you like the figure!

@@Alex-fm9oj Yeh, The red nycc version seems to be actually painted decently and with some actual effort. Glad I cancelled my second unit of the green one to get the red one

This one ain't for me at all. Not my scale, not posable enough, too expensive, yet I would like to have it in my collection. As you said it, there aren't many Doom figures out there, but with the McFarlane Classic, the Nendoroid and the Figma, I am pleased. Yet I would love Storm Collectibles to tackle the classic design at some point.

Fits in well with the other figures on the Bethesda store. I’m hoping someone will come up with a bigger crucible sword however. I wonder if the letter opener will fit in his hand?

On that note, worldbox Super Durable Strong Body has arms that fit perfectly on this body

When u buy mondo it’s sculpt over articulation. But it goes for all 1/6 scale . Bigger the scale less articulation . Smaller more posable . Cool review

@@solid-snake7336 Hot toys still have limited articulation for the price point; articulated statues with emphasis on detail over articulation. I stopped collecting hot toys after my first two because they were too expensive and didn't have enough articulation. I stopped collecting most 1/6 overall though, because as the OG mentioned, the bigger the scale, the less articulation. The most articulated 1/6 figures I have are not Hot Toys, though.

DOOM music is actually copyright free. Feel free to use it in your videos! Most video game music is pretty chill on that front. Makes it easier for pepole to do gameplays n' stuff

Does yours have the abs/torso out of alignment with the groin? Got mine today and it looks out of alignment there and I can’t rotate or change the angle of it.

I did not have that issue! I did however notice it fall king out of alignment often, but I was able to readjust it

It was about a week shipping. Packaging was great! There was actually extra plastic corner protection within the shipping box, which was cool 📦

got my nycc red variant that's supposed to be even more "limited" and there's no numbers. They probably thought that making the item "limited" would get them off the shelfs. We will see these on clearance very soon.

@@Quakecon-s9r find some pepakura cosplay templates and make a cosplay for a blank body. That's what I'm up to now

Looks good but too stiff. Kinda like when Hasbro did the Dragonzord it looks great but it felt super cheap and breakable. I know people complained about mcfarlane's but it's sturdier and articulate and way cheaper 20 bucks. But now they went up.

Be careful of the shoulder pegs as they can snap easily. also use hot water for every thing on this guy as he is stiff as hell.

he looks good but for $300 fig i would expect it to be around hot toys level like three zero did with 2016 doom .... not like this over sized mcfarlane looking with just details and accessories

The articulation it's very disappointing, I'm gonna try to cancel my pre-order and I'll keep my Good Smile Company figure.

Overall I think it could have been done better. Might as well just make it a statue. The parts are cheap and snap easily. They don’t fit in the hand easily. No instruction sheet. Ditch the weapons and focus on fundamentals next time.

Awful detail, awful articulation, awful paint job, and all that for the comfortable price of a Hot Toys... I'll keep looking for the tiny one as I really want a Doom Guy figure... This one is a huge pass tbh

Overpriced, Shit articulation, and weapons that are ridiculously out of scale.. they really did the wrist blade too damn long and made the Crucible sword look like a kitchen knife in comparison. Glad I cancelled my second unit because this ain't it chief. Hope a more competent company makes an actual decent 1/6 figure of the Doom Eternal Slayer. Because for that absurd price tag this is increidibly underwhelming.

I'm gonna be posing mine with the chainsaw, since it's the only "gun" that's close enough to being decently scaled. Seems to me that you just have low standards and are trying to justify the absurd ammount of money that you spent on this thing. But hey, if you're satisfied with the barest minimum, more power to ya, buddy.
