I loved this track, and I was sad to see the map-styled layout go away in DooM 2.

Love how faithfull this is to the source .. most "musicians" would give their own gringy spin to it or start improvising in all the wrong places

...metal band performing this on the stage with all band members in Doomguy costumes, anyone? Better yet, with two guitarists, dressed as Doomguy and the Cyberdemon, continuously switching who leads and who follows as if they were exchanging fire? With the Doomguy guitarist communicating entirely though pointing and gesturing while the Cyberdemon guitarist does the entire band's metal growls by himself? And the two ending the concert with posing out Doom II's cover art?

To be honest, it's rare for any metal song to make me involuntarily start headbanging these days - this managed it far more effectively than I could have possibly expected. I'm reeling at just how badass this sounds, holy shit. You did an excellent job at not only making it incredibly heavy, but also using details like varying drum patterns to make a simple loop feel much more dynamic than the original version. *Fantastic* job.

This is a very good song to listen to when you finish a workout and you take a quick break to move on to the next one it really gets you re-energized from the guitar and basically says “GOOD WORK BADASS! NOW TAKE A QUICK 2 MINUTE BREATHER AND GET YOUR ASS BACK TO KICKING MORE ASS!”
