2:20 The "weird fish thingy" is actually called a dopefish, and it was a very secondary character in the game Commander Keen, created by ID Software (the same studio that made DOOM). Since the character became really popular among fans of the game, ID Software made it a gag to put it into most (if not all) of their games.

Fun fact: the doom universe’s earth is actually just Australia world wide. So when demons invade it’s actually just the average summer as for when summer hits normal earth

I love this game on 120Hz mode. I'm going through campaign once every few months on give me violence which is just right difficulty for me. Couldn't care less for online trophies, so once I have all offline ones, I consider it platiunum xD

Good vid. For the Weapons Expert achievement, you just had to kill 1 demon player with all 8 weapons. You could've asked for mates to help you out in private lobbies for that one. Nevertheless, congrats on achieveing "Heavy Metal"

Tying platinum with online trophies kind of strayed me away from grinding it. I Believe the best way to get platinum for games is the way ghost of Tsushima did they’re’s. They separated online trophies from offline trophies and it let me get platinum without any online achievements.

You don't have to kill both demon players with the BFG, only one is enough but it's a glitched one. The direct hit doesn't always register correctly unfortunally

shame that ID didn't figure out how to make controller pew pew work well like other fps games. playing this with a roller feels like you are always stuck on something and can't aim quite where you want it and in turn makes the game about 20% harder
