Thanks, Kelli, for breaking down how to draw the hyacinth. I would never have tried it without seeing this. I think this would be awesome, though perhaps tedious, finished with colored pencil.

I agree...it would be beautiful with colored pencil...or watercolor!

This was a little challenging for me. But it really did turn out pretty. I need to go color my leaves green I think after seeing yours. Thank you so much for all that you do. I don’t think people hear that enough. 💛TR

Hahaha! I was so confused the whole time, up until you finished the first flower... I was thinking of hydrangeas!! This is an absolutely amazing hyacinth!

Hi Kelli - loved this! When I first saw it I thought it would be difficult and I would skip it but… trust the zentangle (R) method of course I could do it. Spectacular! I think the tangle you did is fire works by Heidi Cook.🎆🎇🎆

Loved how simple this is and how pretty and realistic the hyacinths appear! This is similar to the tangle Funf. Thank you Kelli!

Hi Kelli I have been drawing with you. Trying to improve my drawing skills. The hardest for me so far was the cherry blossom. I did it and ended up making a pocket for my junk journal. I used a pencil and a penny to help me. I have enjoyed all your videos. ❤

I like this flower a lot and the shading is perfect! I may try some color on this one too....usually prefer just to leave it black and white but I feel this one screams purple!!! Thanks for sharing, each day is so much fun!

Kelli, I am brand new to all of this, and am loving the doodles! I've even braved the dandelions and hyacinths-lol- 🙂 I have a Q about shading: I've always really disliked the look and feel of smeared graphite... are there other choices for shading and shaping? Janine

That is such a great question! The only thing I can think of is using a very fine pen to do stipple shading with little dots.
