Lovely butterfly! I loved hearing about how you raise butterflies. I have lots of milkweed on our land. I sometimes find caterpillars but have never looked for eggs … yet!

Kelli - I love my butterflies - just had to try this. Not quite the same as yours but I'm happy with what I did.

Beautiful butterfly. Mine is a bit lopsided but that is okay. That is fascinating about raising Monarch butterflies. It must be so thrilling and satisfying to see them grow and morph into butterflies after your care. Where I used to live with my parents on the central coast of CA., just a few miles away is the Pismo Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove. Thousands of Monarchs overwinter there to get out of cold climates. It seems they like the eucalyptus trees there.

Hi Kelli Thanks for sharing all these videos. I have never done a challenge, always look at different videos and do my own. Not that am doing exactly what you doing but very close to them. lol 😂 First challenge that am following. I love butterflies, do not raise butterflies but have many plants for butterflies and milkweed is the main one in my garden. I go out to count my caterpillars 🐛 and chrysalis. Making sure that they are protected. Since we have hurricanes in my area we pick them and bring them indoors. It is very interesting what you do. Probably would be great to see a video of the process. Thanks again for the videos.

Do you take pictures of your monarch butterflies? As you release or steps of the process? I would love to see them? I’m not so much of a doer but I’m a great audience! Love these doodles this month!
